Horden Station
Journey planners are indicating one daily journey at 16:17 from Horden to Nunthorpe, ticket sales are possible too. Does anyone know if this means the station is discreetly open?

The station was supposed to open around now, but was pushed back to the summer due to COVID-19. |

No mention from Northern but appears on all the usual platforms, which all seem to be otherwise accurately showing emergency timetables. Can even buy a ticket: Looks like it was supposed to open from today, yesterday would have been the usual national timetable change date. Most likely that someone forgot to remove Horden from the ticketing systems. |

The station is offically open today, will have to wait and see what effect it has.

Statement on the government website. Still puzzling out the concept of travelling to Horden for pleasure. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/15-mi...north-east
