Argh, why's the side logo at the back!? Because of the advert frame being further forward?  Otherwise looks smart.  Smile

RE: 6085 - Repainted into 2019 fleet livery
I'm sure long term there'll be a want to get it back to its former timetable, obviously with the night buses removed. Whether passenger levels will allow that nobody knows just yet.

Seen a photo on Flickr of the near side of 6069 and the GNE logo is at the front

Repaints
Looks like according to Dan one of the B9s is in for a repaint, going off the pictures it looks like it's going a light green which doesn't match any current livery.
Using a bit of detective skills (bus times), looks like it's either 6050, 6087 or 6088 as it seems they're the only ones that have been off the road long enough to have been prepped for repaint

It looks too close to 'Angel Green' for them to use it on another route.
My guess is another promotional bus

RE: Unknown B9 repaint
Is it a B9TL? Could be a B5LH as well.

They're all out and about, bar the one that's away for hybrid removal.

So all possibility it could have returned from its little holiday down Scarborough.

Seems random they would put a promotional brand in middle of the FAB 56 brand as both 6087/6088 are FAB 56

I think this might be the new livery colour for the 56 route - if its not 6050 - which will also be due a repaint.

True, the sooner the get rid of the 'Fab fifty six' the better!

Good point! Might have to look a bit closer see if there's any minor differences between the B9 and B5s (would it still be a B5LH with the Hybrid removed?)

Oh yes, the colour is horrendous... sure its name was something like:

NewcastleSunderland Citylinks... which is meh, unless that's changed.... which i hope so.

I can't even think of a good brand for it!

I suppose they could go with something that plays off the rivalry between the two, but honestly I think GNE are past that type of branding at this point.
I suspect we'll see something along the lines of Cobalt and Coast in terms of branding, simple, if a bit boring.

Issue is they've diluted the brand by using it on services that don't connect cities!
To me, citylink only makes sense as a brand if it links cities

And I think they'd rather have a dedicated brand for a route like the 56

Xlines is great, C&C is bland, Little Coasters and Green Arrow are alright. So really it's a toss up whether it's going to be good or not!
