It's a shame to see the L94s go, they don't look too bad for a 16 year old bus. A bit rattly here and there, but certainly not as bad as some other buses that are a similar age. I guess with all the new arrivals, there's no need to keep them.
I definitely won't be upset to see the Omnicities go, I really don't like them. They look odd and some of the seats near the engine get really hot in the summer.
Citaros on the other hand, I will miss. They look good for their age and the build quality is good. They've also been refurbished, so I can see them being with Go North East for another 3 years, before they're all withdrawn.

Doing the maths of how many new buses are coming into the fleet between now and October, I would not be surprised to see the withdrawal of Mercedes Citaros from the fleet this year.

No, of course not (and they haven’t been refurbished, which the OP referred to!)

The L94s are alright, but they're nowt special.
Let's be real, buses are inanimate objects, it's the people who designed it that should be praised, not the bus itself!

Omnicities are the best  Cool

Always preferred B7RLEs to the L94 myself.

Given that the B7RLE was available until 2013 I wonder if operators regret, looking back, opting for L94s and then Omnicities over sticking with one standard chassis/body type throughout.

I’d recommended any classic Scania fans have a day trip to the Potteries area, it’s where First send Scanias to die. Their native 2004 batch have just had a refurb despite their age.
