Sunderland 35188 Dart now Sorn... That's Shields depot has it been transferred depot for Sorn?
RE: Period Fleet Movements (Official from Fleetcards)
When normal bus services start to resume, could there be any vehicle movements / allocation changes to help with social distancing, which I know will probably be very difficult to maintain especially at peak times?

Yes it's a Shields one - my bad, a combination of turning spreadsheet lists into a workably post at 11pm last night!

Could well be an option, I'm sure it'll be looked at.

Have you got the PDF copy of this to hand that you could share?

As I'm sure many of us do, I tend to view the fleet cards on the mbonwick website. Probably a little easier to follow as a PDF rather than as a forum post, and I'll get the NEB fleet lists/news updated to match.

Mbonwick is in the same email trail so all would be up on his site when he gets all Group period updates in and gets round to updating his site. I'll upload the PDFs to the forum when I receive them in the future.

Perfect, thanks. NEB Fleet Lists & News updated accordingly!

Still yet to put in some of the historic repaints but will try and do this tomorrow.

Hi Robin - please remember that this thread is to discuss the fleet movements noted on the period fleet cards.

If you've got a new topic to discuss, please create a new thread. If you'd just like to talk, please head to 'The Canteen' section of the forum and make a post there instead.

RE: Period Fleet Movements (Official from Fleetcards)
I was out and about yesterday afternoon around South Shields and I think they could benefit from some additional capacity whether that be from using double deckers or frequency increases as I got an 11 from Biddick Hall to Shields after getting off an X34 on Galsworthy Road, the E200 in question was packed with no social distancing enforced with 22 passengers on board with the driver picking up/dropping off at every stop in between until after we reached Marsden which he then enforced "Bus Full" and ran non stop into Shields dropping off only, in the stops we passed after Marsden I did a rough head count of roughly 10 people per stop and seen similar loadings while observing on Station Road while getting a few photos.

Has anyone had similar experiences or seen anything similar across Newcastle and Sunderland operations?

35188, 39702/05-08/21 are all still SORNed / not used according to Bus Times. Maybe they should be brought back into use and used as duplicate buses when services get very busy?

ADL E300s 27724 & 27725 don't appear to be getting used at Walkergate and there are also still quite a few full size single deckers out of use at both Stockton and Slatyford, as normal pre-lockdown service has not resumed yet.

ADL E300s 27724 & 27725 don't appear to be getting used at Walkergate and there are also still quite a few full size single deckers out of use at both Stockton and Slatyford, as normal pre-lockdown service has not resumed yet.

I think Stagecoach need put pre-lockdown service back in place, sooner the better as service levels are increasing and it's not just because of the nice weather we have experienced, Go North East made the right move several weeks ago in returning services back to normal as soon as they seen a increase when lockdown was lifted.

Although it maybe a bit premature as I read this morning we may end up back under full lockdown in the coming weeks.

Is their no deckers still Sorned at Slatyford or Walkergate that could be used in the short term?

South Shields and Sunderland local buses seem quite busy most of the time while the E400s mainly carry fresh air on the X24/X34

I would think so, they have no need for them.
