Resale value I'd guess, be a bit of nightmare to sell a bus which doesn't work and I can't see them going to scrap.

No idea about the 27 branded Mercs, but those originally allocated to the 35 were covered in bubbles around their wheel arches fairly early in their lives.

Not sure the East Lancs Cityzens at Blyth which we're a wreck when they we're withdrawn though went on to the DDA deadline with independents so weirder things have happened. Can't see them going to scrap yet, as long as they can get an MOT wouldn't be surprised if some independent would pick them up if they were cheap enough. Some of the stuff that some of them run around I'm sure they wouldn't care and they'd be ideal for doing school runs when the DDA deadline comes in for those that have coaches purely for them etc.

Can anyone confirm if 5439 has been repainted into corporate livery? Pretty sure I seen it earlier without 'Sunderland' branding

Ye, a photo of it appeared on "Busesnortheast" Facebook page, the pic and post was by Paul Francis

May be the most relevant place to post this..? Something that could be of note is that 6087 is down Bus and Coach World in Blackburn, possibly for a repaint.

Might finally be getting its new Livery but also could be going in to Fleet Livery, as the current PVR has dropped by 3 (unless they plan to bring it back to every 12 minutes in the new year).

Sure it was said the new livery would be called

Newcastle & Sunderland CityLink or something.

Edit: must of went down late today, as it was on the 60, it did the 5:30 to Sunderland

Can’t be 6087 on the 60s, low bridge at Dawdon. Ticket machine must be being used in another vehicle for Deptford. 
Also sunset times would suggest it’s not even possible, by 18:10 it would be dark and the photo is clearly in the light. Wonder what bus the ticket machine is being used in?

Bus times suggests the ticket machine from 6087 was being regularly used on 56s until Wednesday 11am, so safe to assume 6087 itself was indeed here until then it’s went down Blackburn at some point between Wednesday and Friday.

Deptford do have some extra B9s on loan too. 6048 and 6084 at least.

Have they had a full refurbishment rather than the retrim which the Red Arrows had? The panel behind the door looks grey rather than the usual blue, not sure if it's just the camera angle as the colours are a bit weird there in places.

Still not keen on this version of livery though just doesn't do it for me personally and I'm not a fan of the swoop. Think it would look better if it just went straight along the black or with a slight curve (talking inches here). Personal taste that though, like the front though.

Will the 3 remaining versas have light refurb too? If so, could they possibly go on X66? With 5389 & 5390 as spare for Q3 and X66? This would allow euro 5 streetlites to go to chester to replace a few omnis

Unless plans are changed I believe that some of 6149 - 6161 are planned to go to CLS for the 13/25 which should see off the Omnicities. It was definitely the plan at one point with the other 6 on the 93/94 which appears to already have happened as they've been allocated daily for awhile now.

Yeah, you can see the outline of the old angel, they've made it smaller and taken it off the windows.

I'd imagine still not enough to withdraw all 8, 11 if you count the temporary allocation of omnis to the 311.

Depends if the SWB Streetlite are permanent allocation and if the services warrant DD at the moment.

Versas could also still move back to Riverside yet
