Just thought we could have a thread that records any 'wrong' tracking info and keep a log of what it actually is, until they get resolved.
One from me is Redcar's 1561 is currently tracking as 354 - it's on the X4 today

SP AN (Ashington spare machine) is 1407
7453 reappeared on BusTimes yesterday despite it being dead in Ashington depot, no clue for certain what it actually is but my guess is 1525 as it hasn't tracked since last weekend when it's loan at Darlington ended
RE: Bustimes Tracking Queries
1448 is currently tracking as 4650 from Darlington during its loan

1525 tracking as 7494 currently, it's just gone through Barnard Castle on the 6.

Something tracked as 1407 last Sarurday on services 57/57A. Possibly 1407 itself, of course. Does anyone know if it is still allocated to Ashington, or is it being readied for a return south ?

1407 tracks as itself because it's now permanently Ashington based according to the latest fleet list.

Blyth spare is on the 57A. Anyone know what it is
RE: Bustimes Tracking Queries
Just to let everyone know. Bus org currently is having a problem. Mostly all buses tracking are running behind 8 minutes to 20 minutes to even an hour. Hopefully this sorted out soon
RE: Bustimes Tracking Queries
What is tracking as 7491 now at Jesmond as it is now listed as spare ticket machine on bustimes and has been on the 685 today. I don't think it is 7491 as I thought was was withdrawn a couple of weeks ago.

Pulsar of some sort. 7491 was last in service on 14th September AFAIK.

Looks like we got some Arriva drivers happily imputing the wrong fleet numbers on the ticket machines today, there’s a pulsar on the 24 pretending to be a solo, and there still a lot of 20-25 minutes delays plus a few cancellations for the 22/23/24 as usual, I wonder if any or many Arriva drivers would immigrant to GNE if there offering more pay per hour

The pulsar traking as a solo would be 1521 which Is tracking as solo 2850
Other odd tracking I have noted today is:
7417 tracking as 1521
7512 tracking as recently withdrawn 7485 which may explain the lack of tracking it has done since moving south from Ashington to Durham
7484 ,which has been revived for the 2nd time this year this time appearing to cover for 7508 which seems to have had an incident with a low bridge not long after arriving at Durham, seems to be tracking as it's withdrawn sister 7485 too

Really the only thing stopping them in the travel times, as the nearest depots south of Durham is Deptford, Consett and Washington and thats still qutie a trip if you're coming from Darlington, if they had a depot at Durham then I would say quite a few.
Northbound with Arriva shutting depots in Newcastle a lot might go to Riverside.

Second time this year?

Think Walkergate or Percy Main are far more likely destinations.

It was never withdrawn from service at Ashington, it simply happened to be VOR waiting parts around the time 7445 (and later 7446 also) suffered major component failure. From memory 1923 was the 7445 replacement.
It then went to Jesmond in early July for engine work, though it's unclear what the intentions were with it. Given it was reinstated quite quickly after 7508s incident, it likely finished it's engine work relatively recently and might have been sitting as reserve for the time being - or they may have had a longer term plan for it (training?).

Ah right thank you for the info I thought it had been withdrawn both times so thank you for clearing up my confusion.

No worries. First time, I think, it was waiting for a gearbox hence the lengthy spell (both waiting for delivery and then installation etc.). Obviously engine work isn't going to be a breeze either, and I think 7511 was also there at the same time which may have delayed it as you'd think 7511 was priority given it was definitely moving elsewhere.

It depends how the talks are going though there seems to be active discussion between the union and Arriva about the move which appears to not have happened with GNE and the first time driver's found out was when leaflets were dumped on a desk.
Not all of them will be bothered if it's done properly, stuff happens like that with a decent compo and explanation. Other's will move or retire.
Considering it's shutting in just over a month would hint that talks are more positive whereas GNE was a verbal bloodbath by this point but that could change obviously.
Not to mention morale has been rock bottom at GNE for ages (not saying Arriva is any better).
