Bit of a late report, but I attended Showbus on Sunday. My second one, and also the second one at Donington Park.
Like last year, I thought this year's event was a cracking day out, and more than worth the trip down there to see everything. No where else in the UK will you get such a variety of not just classic buses, but also coaches and modern buses. One of the highlights for me was seeing Trent's E200MMC line up that they brought along.
The layout of the site was a bit different to last year, after what appeared to be a rejigging of the entry points to site and the car parking. Catering was also improved, with several outlets dotted around, which seemed to result in next to no queues. An addition was the seating point at the top end of the site, built up of concrete benches, which was an improvement on zero seating last year.
The North East was represented solely by the superbly presented ex-Northern Metrobus 3501 UTN501Y. It is a shame that others from up here don't seem to make it down, as we've a lot to offer.

We were thinking of taking R855 PRG down but her recent problems put pay to that. But we are thinking of doing it next year.
