Transfer of 367/368 from East Yorkshire

Transfer of 367/368 from East Yorkshire

Transfer of 367/368 from East Yorkshire
I’ve seen on Facebook tonight that East Yorkshire 367 & 368 have transferred to Go North East and are currently parked at Riverside Depot.

Presumably these are to replace outgoing Citaros and / or OmniCitys.

If they had more I would say the 26/50 would be the best place for them, infact imo the perfect allocation, but it isn't.

Are they Euro 6? If not deptford will be their place.

I would assume Riverside to allow for fleet standardisation with the examples already operating up here.

Could be the replacement for the 57

Those two are the last of that batch, there were only 6. The other B7RLE/Urban are 56 plate old style, MCV or Centros
RE: Transfer of 367/368 from East Yorkshire
What about the 680/688 at Hexham allowing for 5507/5508 to be released to Riverside or Chester-Le-Street.

Otherwise i'd with the 67/69 but this would only cover 2 of a PVR of 4., I can't see anywhere else for them to go unless they went into Voyager Livery for Private Hires.
RE: Transfer of 367/368 from East Yorkshire
I wouldn't mind seeing one go into Voyager. But there's only 3 of them not (Allocated to a certain route) 5504 seems to be dotted between 57/6/12/12A/X66

Personal wouldn't mind seeing 5504 on the 33 at some point but where would the other two go

Newcastle service 33 requires 2 vehicles so 5509/10(?) could go on there, with 5504 as spare for 33/X66, Are these newcomers Euro 6 ?

Dan stated on Flickr, they will be used as spare for gateshead services, 29, 49/A, 67/69, X66 however maybe used on other routes until CAZ is introduced

So it isn't Euro 6? Is 5504 Euro 6? If not we will see them at Deptford or Washington.

They could have been cool for the 65. If only there was 4 of them

Non of them are euro 6, hence why they only will be used on gateshead services that dont enter Newcastle

Why the E200 is 13yrs old. Waste of time and money for something that is only here to cover repaints and maintenance

Like the X22 16 year old buses.

Imo it is the perfect fit

Wouldn't care but younger Solo's have already left the fleet or are about to leave the fleet

The 29 is just a weird bus service in general don't really see it's purpose. It runs pretty much 15 minutes in front/behind the 28A and 69 and doesn't really offer any new links bar Low Fell to Kibblesworth which aren't already provided elsewhere and doesn't go to Newcastle either.

Seems counter productive when the 28/28A are clearly struggling hence the cuts lately.

No, it’s commercial minus a few trips on Saturday.

The only difference is that 29 goes down Durham Road for a bit.

Really just stick a small solo. But really that E200 the size is a perfect fit

Ah thanks.
RE: Transfer of 367/368 from East Yorkshire
Ive said it before on here... it was secured so Kibblesworth would have 2x bus per hour. When the tender came up GNE were worried about a competitor getting it in there area so took it, as Dan says, most of the journeys commercially. As far as I know the first run on the morning is run by GCT... I'm not sure if it ever turns up as I'm never up at 630am!

Its never going to get "new buses" but it must pee off customers who see adverts for clean euro 6 buses, tables to work at and charging for mobile phones when i isn't ever been on a 29 with them.... and to be honest i don't think the 28a/b ever has buses with these items either

Look at Deptford, only the Citaro Chargers work, no tables, wifi yes.

Few get everything, most get barely anything

doesn't bother me a bus having any of those thing... i just pray it turns up!!

Im on about the potential customers who see these shiny new buses and think if they get the bus it will be one of those and they end up with a 58 plate cast off with thin hard seats. no next stop annoucements and TBH i don't even think it has WIFI?
