Is their a point in this brand, clearly GNE doesn't care. Seems as though there isn't enough branded for all. routes. And with the oldersolo's going and GNE clearly not replainting them, might aswell just be a dead brand.

What a shame

The 19 isn't part of it and it shouldn't be either. They're only 2 buses short without the older Solos. PVR 13 (believe that's right), 11 buses painted.

It's an awful brand anyway, wouldn't be missed and no-one will refer to it anyway.
RE: Little Coasters 11/19/41/41A/42/42A
The 19 was Little Coasters at one point. Now it isn't for some reason

Go North East had a Little E200MMC on loan a few years ago. (Twice if I can remember) why don't they invest in them for the route (if they want a cleaner buses with Euro 6)

The branding advert makes no sense. As Go North East don't run it 7 days a week or till late.

Little Coasters seems to get the worst buses ever. Nothing is wrong with (698to701) yet there getting rid of them. They all had NSA when they were branded IndiGo (Better than current) now non of them have it. Especially since most of them are long routes (42/42A/19/11) and somehow don't require NSA

I don't think anyone can argue that they haven't given up.

Bit of an exaggeration here - as I've said in the past the 'Little Coaster' services do what they need to do - in general they are punctual, reliable and the buses aren't really that bad in reality.

For me, it really shows when they're aren't enough branded buses for a service how much they care. They will soon be losing more branded buses. Not to mention the downgrades.

Maybe so, but I doubt many of the passengers (including myself) will be that bothered if the bus that shows up is red or blue, as long as it turns up on time and gets them to where they need to go.

I could understand the complaints if it was an X-Lines route, or something of a similar specification but they aren't.

Well then whats the point of branding a route, if a lot of the dedicated buses aren't branded. Just remove it all.
RE: Little Coasters 11/19/41/41A/42/42A
Go North East just seem to not care about these routes. They get cascade of older buses. Never new investments.

Hell think about it. The 135/136/81/82/83/84/85/86 all went back to Go North East after bad operation by GCT. Jesus they even took the 19 back of them

The 19 shouldn't be Little Coasters it doesn't make sense at all being it. The Little Coasters are the Wallsend local services and the 19 doesn't go anywhere near the place and there's no reason why anyone would use it to connect to it either. It only ever became Little Coaster because they cut the 42/42A in half and had branded buses spare imo.

Even known it's not that popular it deserves its own branding imo as it's the Cobalt to Northumberland Park Metro / Shields Ferry bus route and it's still quite popular at doing that.

The 11 never had NSA's,that used to be Blue Arrow, even when they got the ex Coaster Omni's,it was May 2019 it became Little Coasters,im sure it was said at some point the 10 Reg Solos were meant to be for the 11 and the older SR's were for the rest of the services, but remember since May 2019 Little Coasters had major changes twice, the axing of the 40,the halving of the 42's,then the reinstating of the 40 (now 41A),i imagine they dont require very many solos for these services now, branded anyway, heres what i'd do
11-Little Coaster as it goes to the Coast and stops at some of the same places as the 1
19-Cobalt Connect like it was
41/41A-The Wallsend Local
42/42A-Tyneside Traveller
Names are just suggestions so DONT quote me on it,also open to suggestions
Kind Regards

If we're going to go for a name. I'd choose for the 11, 41/41A and 42/42A Little Centurions to give a nod back to the Roman links and their connections to Wallsend since mainly that's what they do really. The 11/42 were Centurion for awhile in the past anyway.

19 not sure tempted for something new as Cobalt Connect never really worked, preferred Route 19 personally. Kinda would say go with that as it could potentially work really well with the new branding Blue at the front, red at the back and then a white and green roadstipe.

RE: Little Coasters 11/19/41/41A/42/42A
I kinda like it actually,it has a much better ring to it,what colour would you have for the Little Centurions, the 19 could have the 309/310's old name "Cobalt Clipper"

Cobalt Connect was effectively a spin off from Cobalt Clipper.

Honestly I'm not too sure the obvious colours would be gold and red but then that doesn't do their colour branding with the blue needed and the gold is X-Lines so both them are pretty banned.

So I'm going to say Blue at the front with Red or Yellow (undecided) at the back. Then design the logo as a modernised version of the original branding without the white border with the yellow - https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c...y_2009.jpg

Always quite liked the logo idea for it, simple and effective.

The yellow version was appalling mind, up there with one of the worst but didn't mind the colours but the execution was appalling.
