Surely that's like me saying Sunderland are a Premiership team, only they're in League 1.

Tbf I do agree he keeps banging on about it however you are seeing no real change or plans for change.

Goodness knows what the congestion busting will consist of, if Dan is accurate in what he is saying elsewhere on the forum.

I think you'll find in the coming months that all three of the region's operators will be looking to scale back their networks, concentrate on the core and see how they can develop that, rather than focusing on weak points or taking back work that is, and will never be, profitable. Whilst there are many benefits to come from the BSIP (should the region be successful in its bid), it also looks at rationalisation of the network too.

Find it extremely hilarious that whenever I'm in the house. All Cherry are out. Yet when I'm out. I'm luck to get one of them. Even then it's ethier 5294 or 5295. Same with a Connections4 on the 26/50. It happens once in a blue moon I'm out to see it on the 26 yet what happens. Taken of at Washington Galleries on the 50

Agreed, I think the colour combo suites the Solo well.  Though I did have to twice as to weather the service bears any resemblance to the Crusader.

Only difference is the little colour. On the solo it looks black and on Crusader it yellow. Apart from that no difference

Was just a quick glance on flickr, rather than looking at the detail.  I thought it might have had some sort of coaster/little coaster relationship to the crusader.

I've gone after a Citaro on the 50 before and the only one that got past Washington was 5486!

If it's any consolation, 5293 and 5295 were absent today

There is no confusion with the Crusdaer, the Silver isn't silver, it's silver-grey

5293 is still VOR at Riverside, hasn't even been repainted yet. The only one missing was 5295.

The second Solo SR M925 663 'Silver' dedicated for the 6 day a week service 33 dropped onto the supported Sunderland circular service 135/136 today. Caught in a quiet spell of the junction of the A183 and A1231 on the 1125 135 service.

The 33 interworks with the 135/136 on evenings, so the pair of Silver Solos should be on the 135/136 on Sundays too when the 33 doesn’t run.

Always found this an interesting working, I assume it is supported on an evening. Noted the interworking on weekdays when the odd Purple was dropping on the 33.

Indeed - secured by Nexus on Mon to Sat evenings and all day Sunday.

Bizarre services really, and odd to still exist given that the Mon to Sat daytime services no longer exist.

Contracts up for renewal in May.

Exactly why I find it interesting, a route that takes in slices of others, but as you remark, no comparable daytime service. very unusual.

When did the daytime service get withdrawn? I remember looking out of the window of the Hospital and seeing the 36A/36C's going along Kayll Road.

Followed 8830 the other day and it's rear promo caused no end of discussion.
Instigated by youngest constantopolous who was sitting alongside me in the front of the car, he picked apart the images used and highlighted the issues with currents/currants and berries.
If a child younger than 10 can see the difference, it makes me wonder why the designers couldn't.
Needless to say, he wasn't impressed and offered a range of alternative ideas and suggestions.
Couldn't be more prouder.

Excellent news that a child younger than ten has noticed the rear advert and it’s caused a lot of discussion in your car!

It’s achieving its purpose. I’m sure those responsible at GNE will be delighted to hear this news, and, like you, couldn’t be prouder.

I assume you want those responsible at GNE Towers, to have created a positive impression with youngest constantopolous?
Not one that provoked ridicule and laughter.
(cos it was the latter).

Delightful that it brought some joy and happiness to eldest constantopolous’ day.

Let’s all have bacon sandwiches to celebrate.

I know a cracking butchers - it’s called Kyle’s - the new Sunderland District Boldon Bananas service goes there. Suppose there’s a Greengrocer nearby.

Can't wait until the 20/20a is split at Sunderland and the Sunderland-Shields section becomes the Cleadon Cabbage.
