Not noted any comment anywhere, but Dart 35263 has moved to South Shields from Hartlepool. Was being worked on yesterday.

Apologies if not allowed but i would be surprised if 17643 came back from this, due to its age probably more cost effective to use as spares and get a replacement. there seems to lots of 52 plate right up to 55 plate ALX 400s getting sold on out of group, could be and opportunity to replace the lot of open toppers for newer ones in the north east

on Stagecoach North East&North West Enthusiasts group on face it has been reported that E200MMCs 26114/5 and E300 27123 are now at Slatyford depot. i wonder with them being 2 18 plate MMCs and a 14 plate E300 are they just cover for the commonwealth loans or could they be replacing some of the older vehicles?

The E200MMC's are from Stagecoach Strathtay with the E300 which is a "14 plate" coming from Stagecoach Perth.
Commonwealth Games cover would be more than likely given the event is due to start in a few weeks time and a lot of Double-Deckers will be required.

As posted on other Facebook groups, a total of 7 Enviros have arrived from the East Scotland fleet, and they are:
Enviro200MMCs 26114 (YY18 TEU) from Arbroath and 26115 (YY18 TEV) from St Andrews
Enviro300s 27122-4 (SL14 LTJ/K/L) from Dunfermline, 27140 (SN64 OGD) from Glenrothes and 27610 (SP59 CTZ) from Blairgowrie
26114/5 and 27123 are presently parked at Slatyford while the rest are at their intended temporary home of Walkergate depot.
Of these, only 27122 is painted in the current ‘Local’ livery, the rest are in swoops - 27124 retains ‘ Letham & Tulloch loop’ branding from its days allocated to Perth depot while 27140 has ‘ Connecting Kirkcaldy & Glenrothes’ branding.

(12 Jul 2022, 8:59 am)Dan wrote Yes, until next March. Their contract for the 319 has also just been renewed for a year from 24 July.
Does Stagecoach have the contracts permanently for the 939 and 991?
Are they likely to keep the 18, 32/32A, 35, and 317 in the long term?
Is there anywhere to find out who has all the contracts from 24th July?

Of course, I know that, just surprising that Stagecoach kept all of their own services (and gained the 32A in full off Gateshead Central Taxis) whereas Go North East and Gateshead Central Taxis didn't seem to get as much support. Positive to see Nexus supporting Go North East with the QA/QB and the 41.
Many people would say the 18, 32/32A, 35 and 317 are best with Stagecoach in terms of territory and tickets etc, I'd say the 35 and 317 could be Arriva. A bit of competition is always good too.
Are the A-Line services like the 92, 792, 941 etc up for renewal this month or in September? Go North East have been awarded one 941 trip and the 392 from Henry Cooper from 24th July. Fingers crossed Henry Cooper get some work.

It has nothing to do with 'support' - it's purely about who provides the cheapest price.

Just a pure coincidence Stagecoach kept all of their services, and gained support for the 62 because passengers wanted Stagecoach instead of Gateshead Central Taxis in those areas.
Go North East would have got funding to secure the Q3 in March, but it went to supporting the 18 instead.
Works services being awarded this month surprised me.
Maybe next March we could see a couple of Stagecoach Newcastle services go to other companies.
