Riverside do the Mot's for vehicles at Percy Main same as Deptford do for Washington for example, nothing out of the ordinary it happens all the time.
RE: Off Road Buses
I see 5392, 94, 96, 97 are all off the road today... only 3 branded buses on the 35.

Hopefully these are withdrawn after the changes because they've gone downhill pretty fast lately.

92 was on the 20 today.

the 60 currently has a Purples, Berries, Citaro. With 2&9 having a Prince Bishops.

There is a drifter on the 55/X20, with an X20 on earlier which was taken off the 807.

2 Un Branded Buses on the 20.

6087 on 20 (well was) with a UnBranded streetlite on the 56.

2 Unbranded Solos on the 206/62

Having used the 35 a lot lately, I’ve noticed the whole batch is absolutely dropping to bits lately. Most seem to have at least one issue, most commonly seems to be issues with the doors, getting stuck in neutral and some even seem to have significant cracking and flexing of the interior floor around the rear wheel arches.
RE: Off Road Buses
Is the door issue when the doors will re-open when the vehicle moves if they've not closed fully? I'm starting to think that's more a feature as I've not been on a citaro that doesn't do it.

On the 35, I’ve noticed it’s more an issue that they just won’t close at all, even when the vehicle is stationary.
RE: Off Road Buses
I got told its due to a sensor and the doors won't close unless the step is completely level. Citaro's are horrible to drive and definitely passed their best. I've said it before and will do again, rather have a streetlite.

5294 is off the road (I believe with a door issue)..

As a passenger me too, I remember when they first arrived, they provided the best ride in the NE.. on the Red Arrow X1/X2/X3?

To be fair that batch of Citaros were the worst in the fleet prior to them being put onto the 35, they started lives on the Citylink 58 then moved over to Stanley for the "Diamond/Durham Diamond" and then onto Riverside for "Citylink 57" before a few moved onto "Sunderland District 35", these Citaros have literally been run into the ground for the past 14 years.

Maybe the Deptford Mercs are horrible and their best days have gone but not all Mercs are like that. The Washington ones are still lovely to drive - the only criticism I've always had is they tend to jerk when coming to a stop.

That's to be expected though as the Washington Mercs are 5 years younger than the majority of the Deptford batch and they've spent their life on Connections 4 compared to more intense work around Stanley and Consett etc

(30 Jul 2022, 8:46 am)Unber43 wrote 5501-5504 are all off, there must be some reliability issues here.

According to Bustimes.org 5501 has been off the road since 26th July, 5502 was 16th June, 5503 was 20th July and 5504 was 19th July.

I'm wondering with 5504/5509 & 5510 all being in Corporate Livery that 5501 to 5504 will join them to form an allocation for a route elsewhere in the fleet given the odd number of branded vehicles with something else then going onto the X66 down the line potential after the Yutong E12's have entered service in September. I do personally think the B7RLE's should be on something more intense than the X66 with something more lightweight on the route instead.

What routes have a PVR of 6?

I've always thought the 61/55 would have suited them.

X20 PVR 6.

They can't go onto the 6, 28/29 due to Euro 6 requirement. the 8 could be an option, but the B7RLE should get USB's.
GNE Questions about fleet withdrawals/fleet questions.
This thread is basically about if you have any questions about the fleet if so post on here and see if another enthusiast can answer the question.

Below are some vehicles which I’m currently not sure what’s happening to them/would like to know if they are being withdrawn soon or already have!

-722
-6131 - 6142 and 6146 including 6167-6171 (I’m aware these still get used just wondering if anyone knows when these will leave)
-6909 & 6910 (Basically all consett B7s)
-6943 (I feel like this may be withdrawn)

I think all the Omnidekka N94UD's will be withdrawn by 2023 from what i've heard. Alongside the Omnicitys

Don’t think there’ll be many sad to see that one go.  Often a chronic lack of power, and an icebox in winter.

Not sure where to put this . What is the little white box unit on top of the buses? A transponder of some sort? I noticed 6356 and another streetdeck from Consett look like theirs have been smashed off whereas others are still on. A result of their use on X71 recently perhaps with the amount of trees at Hamsterley Mill?[Image: f2cc525180b359d4ca4372810f6ff0d2.jpg][Image: eeff5e9feacb067e0d8fd6ba6a93f01e.jpg]

To be honest 646 isn't spending much time on the road at Percy Main either. Only time I've managed to photo it when it has been parked at the front of the depot. As usual with a Do not Use cover on the steering wheel. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...2266917957

Mind it's keeping 6998 good company since that has been off the road since late May. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...2244055679
