Does anyone know if 2824/34 have replaced anything at Stockton?
i've heard that 2824/2834 are at Stockton to allow 1550 - 1559 to go for repaint. Also heard from a driver they are sending 2 buses at a time for repaint.

2867 and 2869 also seem to have transferred to Durham, but haven't been used here yet. I'm assuming these are replacing older Solos.

Solo's went to Durham so Pulsar's 1476/7/8 & 1509 could go to Darlington

Yes, Redcar are expecting 2845 but it hasn’t, yet, showed up

1435 and 2824 have been swapped between Stockton and Redcar presumably due to a temporary shortage of Solos. 2824 can be found on the 95 today (it worked the first X4 up from Redcar this morning) and 1435 is on the 17A.

RE: Recent Transfers
1924 has reappeared in Bus Times for Arriva North East recently so looks like it is on the way back, as someone else suggested recently. Going back home to Ashington soon to join 1923 ?
RE: Recent Transfers
Wonder if it might to be to send more buses to refurb, now they can't rely on Blyth and have lost the Cadet. Blyth has been having big problems with the Gemini's the past few days for some reason and also as usual there's Enviro's and Solo's are off the road at Ashington.

No it hasn't.

The Cadet, I believe, is covering for Euro 6 modifications and swapping between the depots as required. So if Blyth buses are getting done, it'll be at Blyth, and vice versa. Likely why the Gemini's have been VOR the past few days - 7628 has also been working for Ashington.

In terms of Ashington E400s VOR, 7516 hasn't tracked on Bustimes as itself for ages but is currently SP AN (having been 7518 for a couple of days), and 7526 is still away for refurb. Believe 7528 was involved in an RTC. 7511 is off for engine work I think, unsure on 7552/53/55.

I should have known better than to trust bustimes!

Thanks for that, I thought Blyth had already done the Euro 6 Mod's on the Gemini's though? I could be wrong though.

I think there were still a few needing done. Heard a few have been sighted in Ash recently so that was the thinking of why, especially given that's why 2516 is here.

22/23/24 Durham branded pulsar on stocktons 15 last night.

Durham branded 22/23/24 pulsar on Stockton's 15 last night.  Unsure which vehicle it was.
RE: Recent Transfers
1412 is at Stockton along with one of Durham’s X12 boards. Due to issues, it only entered service yesterday and, as I understand, will be kept on local work for the duration of its stay.

Caught it on a 48 a few weeks ago, and it was beyond gutless.

Seems to be a trend of vehicles leaving Durham to other depots in a complete state, or going to Durham and being killed within a couple of weeks having been absolutely fine beforehand.

And they’ll be getting it in the same gutless condition when the X12 turns go back to Durham (atm planned for October - at the same time Stockton’s PVR increases with local work restored). Stockton’s engineering team aren’t prepared to pay the cost of the parts required when it’s only intended to be here for a short period of time.

So from October is it expected that the 2/2a in Darlington, X66/67 and 8/15 will go back to their normal timetables? With the X66 going back to Darlington, X12 and 7 boards back to Durham?

No
Stockton’s 8 and 15 will revert to their previous frequency of every 10 minutes - also led to believe the 7 will be extended to Kirklevington at the same time. Hence why 1534/5/6 are in various different stages of being reinstated for service (understand 1534 now has an MOT having put in for test yesterday - but not yet taxed)
The X66 as it is now is how it will stay - every 20 minutes operated by Stockton.
The 2 boards on the X12 currently being covered by Stockton are intended to revert to Durham operation at the time of the Teesside changes - however, there’s a long time between now and then, things could change.

Ah okay thanks for the info. The X67 another casualty of covid then I guess

As I understand it, Redcar’s will be done once Stockton’s are done - and Stockton’s are being done at Bus and Coach World in Blackburn rather than St Helens.
Meanwhile, North West are sending E400s to Thorntons for the same work - where’s the logic I wonder.

1563 on its way back from Cummins having a new engine - 1565 also returned recently as has 4713, 7425 and 7406 from engine work also. Just leaves 4719 outstanding now.

RE: Recent Transfers
While not technically a transfer (given it was last on allocation at Stockton), Centro 1534 has re-entered service at Stockton today after 10 months off the road. Sisters 1535 and 1536 are due to join it over the forthcoming month or so ready for the PVR increase at the depot in October.
RE: Recent Transfers
7522 is continuing to work for Ashington after appearing there a couple of weeks ago. It's been tracking as 7530 predominantly, but occasionally tracking also as 7524.
