Is the 725 going to be allocated a Solo?

How much is a single and return between Sacriston and Chester-le-Street? Can Go North East tickets be purchased on the 725? Ticket acceptance is little use if a ticket needs to be purchased to access Go North East, although I know the X20 and 16/16A operate along the route.

If you are going to newcastle/getting more than 2 buses going, you can just buy a day ticket on the x20, then get off at the next stop.

It should be a Solo (or more likely Solo SR).

GNE tickets are accepted however they cannot be purchased on board the 725.

Yes, I meant Solo SR. For some reason I was expecting a double decker, the 25 is a mix of single and double decker buses. Definitely wasn't expecting a Solo SR.

That's what I thought.

Contract is for a minimum of 25 seats, it doesn't require a double decker with the main reason GNE using them on the 25 being interworking with scholars.

That was for one of them which did the 07:43 X20.
RE: Weardale
Are Weardale operating their scholars routes from September, including the 105 and 146? Which 941 journey are they operating in the afternoon?

School bus services could be included on bus stop timetables. The Arriva scholars routes are the only services not open to all passengers as far as I know.

All Nexus contracts? Does that include the 725 or is that a DCC contract?

What Nexus contracts do they operate?

You asked about scholars services - they’re contracted by Nexus - including the 794, 933 and 941

Go North East has got the 794. Weardale has kept the 941, are they not operating any Nexus contracts from 31st August?

Any ideas who is running the 933/941 from 31st August onwards?

So Weardale are only running Durham CC services like 725, 763, 773 etc?

Who is running the scholars routes Weardale had this school year?

If I can take the biggest guess. Go North East

No, the journeys on services 794, 933 & 941 currently ran by Weardale will all be ran by Go North East from August 30th (plus service 392 currently operated by Henry Cooper Coaches)

Thank you. So therefore Go North East will be operating 3 journeys on the 941, with A-Line running the other AM trip? Disappointing to see Henry Cooper Coaches with no services going forward.

Are Go North East going to run the 792 (Blackhall Mill-DWP Tyneview Park) from next month?

A-Line retain that AFIK.

A new contract Weardale have won however is service 51 between Stanhope and Durham / New College on weekdays (unsure what if/any impact this has on the X46 trips that extends to/from Stanhope)
