RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Have noticed 34605 has not been in service since July I hope it’s not been withdrawn and getting scrapped that’s one of the best buses Hartlepool had in the last few years although some drivers might disagree.

No it's still there. It's the usual routine with that one, runs fine for a while then devolps major problems. It's been sat near 35236 for the past few weeks.

35236 turned up at South Shields recently maybe it's getting fixed up for service?

All the loans (including the recently returned to service 36974) now have Transit legals - stuck over the Busways ones. Given they should have had them in some way since they first arrived, it’s about time….

Going by what engineering said about a month or 2 back. That one is for scrap.

Worse than that - I don't think it' done a full day in service since gaining its pride vynils. Seems to just be sat in the engineering shed, so presumably it's being worked on.

I take these are movements due to the buses coming back from events and buses have gone back the depots they were at before?

Indeed, just the Busways loans at Stockton outstanding - although 22024 appears to have bitten the dust having been towed back at the beginning of the month and parked up in the dead row alongside 24002.

https://www.stagecoachbus.com/service-up...:54:10:001

Main big one is the 317 will now no longer serve Wallsend Interchange but will now serve a 1 way Loop round Wallsend. Same route as the 11 by Go North East did

Interesting Stagecoach appear to continue to be in a position to maintain a much more stable network...the only real cuts having been the 32 etc last time around which ended up being secured.  Without wanting to be accused of attacking GNE, there is a glaringly different scale of ongoing cuts dating back a year now seemingly making the network spiral down (GNE), versus very little in the way of cuts (SNE).  Yes they serve different populations but I am not convinced it's all just because GNE have more rural routes etc as has been suggested previously.  Their urban routes in likes of North Tyneside and Sunderland have been massacred just as much, yet SiN and SiS in similar kinds of areas have been maintained.
