(13 Sep 2022, 12:30 pm)Kuyoyo wrote He's referring to the fact that previously, there was only one 'Hartlepool Town Centre' option in the destination list whereas now there's the option for one 'from Owton Manor' and one 'from The Headland' - more so linked to the fact Hartlepool share a list with Stockton who, due to the MMCs having next stop announcements, have similar on a number of their cross-town services (36/37/38 and their numerous 'Stockton' screens).
Not quite. The options are "7 Hartlepool Town Centre (from Owton Manor)" or "7 Hartlepool Town Centre (from Clavering). Though last night I had 36092 which only has the one option.

Yeah they done it with the 2018 service changes when the ridiculous 6/7 evening triangle service started.

Before 2018 only the last 1 From Middlesbrough the last 4 from Clavering the last 6 from Clavering and the last 7 from the Headland terminated at the Town Centre and it was just the Simple Town Centre as the destination. It got changed to Hartlepool Town Centre with the 2018 changes when the 7 was changed to finish at 11 and not 10 the 4 was replaced with the 3A and the evening 6 was brought back.  Like mentioned more sharing with Stockton was probably a reason as well.

Speaking of Stockton the destination is going to need updating regardless of service changes as currently the 35,52,58,59 and 61 all have Stockton Castlegate Centre as an end destination.  Since the centre itself is currently in the process of been demolished they really can’t keep that as a Destination.

You still seems to be missing my point. I'm not disputing anything about the times, routes or whatever it says on the front. Some buses, on the actual destination selector thingy in the cab have an option for "7 Hartlepool Town Centre (from Owton Manor)" and "7 Hartlepool Town Centre (from Clavering)". I would underline and bold the word Clavering if I knew how.

That must be a mistake then as it should be the 6.

Because the only damage was to the bodywork and windows, so they probably saw more value in repairing it than scrapping it.

That and there is nothing to replace it. 643 had a 'new' engine from 17430 a couple of years ago at Slaty, plenty of ALX400 panels and screens for the stripping. Surprise is that they didn't paint it in Local

It won't be withdrawn, like last year it and the other three will go to Shields for storage. There is nothing to replace them, they'll be back out next year.

Before the accident there was a plan to repaint it into local. Where've you got the idea they're permanently withdrawing them soon - surely if they were it wouldn't have been repaired?

That's correct, the Local livery plan for ALX400 was sent to the Wheatsheaf
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Also, on a different note, I saw it being checked in the depot with the LoLiner logo on the destination display (just now seen pictures of it on Flickr) - somewhat surprised that's still in the list unless they put it there specially.

Also, here's the Local livery plan for it. Kinda hope it'll still happen.

That's the point I've been trying to make for the past week!
Accidentally used the "from Clavering" destination on a trip last night coming from Owton Manor on the 7 with limp mode 36090. As nobody actually reads the dest's anyways....

All 3 have arrived and are parked at the back of Sunderland

That's what is supposed to be moving - from what I now understand, these MAN E300s will effectively take the place of the ALXs in the move, and from other comments, likely that 22570/4/80/1 will also be making the move southwards......

The ones coming to Teesside are MANs. Stockton’s E300s aren’t going anywhere - the E200MMCs are expected to move northwards given they are Euro6 and Newcastle requires Euro6 stock for the CAZ.

22887/9 as well, and 22890 if it has a future
