Indeed, though with a change you'd think the drivers might be asked to show some common sense/service and ask if anyone is waiting on the 26
(28 Jan 2014, 8:50 pm)CatsFast101 wrote Yeah it would be nice if they did do that, especially in areas where it's the only bus service you'd thing some if the drivers would have a bit common sense. I think displays boards on the buses could display changes, Solars/Versas/new vehicles have display screens (for next stop and/or CCTV) maybe they should feature 'Sunderland Bus Changes' with some passengers bound to notice and say 'Betty the 26 is getting replaced' etc.

Wednesday - Market Place, Blyth.
Thursday - ???
Friday - Northumberland Street, Newcastle.
Saturday - ???
Also had a thought from a post in the Stagecoach thread, about them running an open doors day for the new gas buses. I'm surprised GNE aren't doing something similar to them, having seen the shots on the SCC thread of all the various new vehicles parked up in the new depot. I realise it won't appeal to everyone, but certainly the enthusiast community and bairns.

Some say they're condoms, others say they're teabags... Whatever they are, GNE are at Blyth tomorrow promoting the Cobalt Clipper!
