Stagecoach UK Fleet Reserves / Disposals
It ran with a mini bus that was a t time very busy but didn't half struggle up ??? Whitehall road bank i think ( off saltwell road). Now it runs on versa, although it did run with the white bus that looked like it had been pull from the scrap yard. But to be positive i once saw and xlines branded bus ( x21 i think) on the 29 so that was a nice change
(16 Feb 2022, 1:58 pm)Dan Didn’t it run with a brand new Solo (which the contract would have paid for) at the time, and now runs with a 12 year old Versa? Not sure what is allocated at the moment, but yeah, pretty sure a Solo was allocated when it was supported.

(21 Sep 2022, 6:13 pm)Andreos1 Didn't get a proper look, but saw an Alx300 being towed along the A66 in Middlesbrough today.Well stockton are meant to be getting all the ALX300S moved down in exchange for some batch of something, might of been coming down here but may of broken down on the way or it may be 22064 went out for a test and broke down
It had the X47 still showing on the blind.
Any ideas?

Looks like the heritage fleet is being disposed of.
Do you think I could take like a headlight or something off of a withdrawn vehicle to remember the vehicle if I asked like for free or something?
At Stagecoach North East Sold to M&S Parton is MAN/Enviro 300 39695 whilst now for disposal are similar 39662/65 and 39706/14 along with MAN/ALX300s 22018/24/70/80, Also at Stagecoach North East Reserve Fleet MAN/ALX300s 22341/47 are temporarily based at Walkergate to provide Christmas duplicate cover. At Stockton similar 22026/62 are in the Reserve Fleet with 22345 in Reserve at Slatyford. Another confirmed MAN/Enviro 300 transfer from Stagecoach Cumbria to Stagecoach North East is 24121.

hopefully with service cuts elsewhere in the country, the electrics for Scotland and the E400 MMCs deliveries. SNE could hopefully bag some decent vehicles.
i think starting off with midibuses there's a decent number of number of darts kicking about which I would grab. the decent ones I would put into service and knackered ones use as spares to keep the current north east fleet going. secondly I think Scotland will be displacing some 2010 E200s, while I don't know how reliable they are I would consider bagging these for south shields and hartlepool and as long as reliability is better than what they have currently use these to scrap some of the 08 vehicles for parts. if there's anything from 2013 up to 2022 vehicles I would blag these Aswell
The last thing Hartlepool needs is more E200s. Half of the ones we already have are in limp mode and the rest beep warnings at you constantly for no reason. I've never drove a MAN in limp mode yet, only beep at you when there's a genuine fault and with the exeption of 39660 they're reasonably warm.
