That's...yellow. Looks quite nice actually.
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Not sure why it has "Cambois" on the blinds, because it doesn't terminate there. Even if it did, which part of Cambois is it referring to?!

The timetable on Google Maps has Stakeford as the terminus for the service.

RE: Phoenix Coaches
Looks like Phoenix have acquired an ex CT Plus Gemini, SN56 AFK.
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Just seen on Nexus website that Phoenix are running the X21 on boxing day from Ashington instead of Arriva. Wonder what vehicles will be used for that.

RE: Phoenix Coaches
yeah the Scanias been out for a while, usually on private hires when I see it
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Yeah I've seen the Scania already on the 09:15 from Haymarket so should be on the odd hour departure from Haymarket for the rest of today. Waiting to see the 10:15
RE: Phoenix Coaches
The 10:15 from Haymarket was the white Volvo B7 Gemini
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Does anyone know if the 808 runs this week?
Really? Why didn't the party bus end up being allocated?
Yes, it did. Not a very clearly visible one though.
Does Phoenix operate the 808 this week do you know?

The Gemini looked to have a paper sticker in the window.

More changes for Phoenix from Sunday 26th March:
15 between Thropton & Alnwick, Lionheart Business Park is withdrawn.
471 is a new service between Thropton and Alnwick Bus Station replacing the 15 but sees an increase to 3 journeys, up from the current 2 journeys.

RE: Phoenix Coaches
From what I've gathered from Facebook, the Bus and Coach side of Phoenix has split from the taxis side of the business. This happened quite some time ago, however at some point in December, the Bus / Coach operation have rebranded themselves at Liberty Coaches due to people still thinking they are part of Phoenix Taxis.
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Interesting. They've retained the Pratts identity down here in Durham.
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Have the Hurst family (Alex Hurst of nufc true faith fame) retained the coaching operation or just the taxi?
