RE: Paper Timetables

I've literally never had a problem using or understanding them, even on mobile.
The fact you can scroll the times while keeping the stops visible on the left makes it infinitely more readable than a PDF!

I don't understand why they don't generate a script which can automatically generate them.

If it was saved properly in a database it's very easy to do tbh.

Also the formatted timetables are crap there's way too many colours, keep it basic like this: https://www.travelnortheast.co.uk/downlo...ew-bly.pdf

You could also print them out and stick them in public stands both problems solved.
RE: Paper Timetables
I’m quite happy to use the smart phones for times, trackers etc when I’m on a simple journey, say from home to town and back. However on a day out or more complicated journeys I prefer paper timetables for looking for connections etc. .I did find the small area booklets that GNE issued until recently very useful. I also know several people who haven’t got a smart phone or find them difficult to use so they haven’t got any means of finding times.
RE: Paper Timetables
PDF have been added for most if not all routes on GNE Website.

Then tend to use the base colour of the route e.g X10 Purple/Gold. However with the 20 they use the purple and the purpley pink see on the old temp timetables when they were going to re-brand it.

They look good tho!

Good to see these back again... hard to keep up with GNE policy on whether paper timetables are essential or wasteful.  Glad the pendulum has swung again though.  Hopefully we'll see these more widely available soon, haven't noticed any out and about as yet.

They’re only on bus at the moment.
