York

It would appear the Wrightbus Electric fleet are due during 2023 - as publication of the 2023 First Bus Handbook by British Bus Publishing has confirmed the fleet numbers as:
Wright Electroliner BEV 36501-36520
Wright GB Kite EV 63644-63667

Livery details are presently unknown - likely to be in the new 'York' Black/Red Olympia 2 livery as used on new Streetdecks 35935-8 (Compared to last update - York's Streetdecks are 35927-38 and not as previously mentioned).

Leeds

The new batch of 'Leeds City Electrics' are also now fleetnumber confirmed as Wright GB Kite 63569-63600 - these are reportedly destined for Bramley depot for a number of their mainly single decker operated services.

Additional to this
An additional 9 Wright Electroliner BEVs have been ordered for York's University services for delivery by March 2024 - at which point, York will become one of the first depots outside of London to become an 100% Electric operation (alongside Norwich, who are also due 55 Electroliners by the same month).
Leeds Bramley will also gain additional electrics at the same time - 25 Electroliners, likely to see off the last of the depot's B9TLs.

just why?

Why not?

It has a diesel engine in, it was put in by them and they might need an extra vehicle

Yeah a diesel engine, but its also a bus which is on the road for a couple months (if you're lucky) then is off the road for 4 months

They know the history of it, and if they want to take it, then thats their choice

Disappointing to see another independent go, if it's true.

Seems it has, it's in Route One - https://www.route-one.net/news/york-pull...irstgroup/

Wonder how many times a company has bought the same company over twice, it's not something that happens everyday. Probably a lesson why you don't sell a name to someone which has value.

North Yorkshire's plans for their BSIP allocation.

This seems like one of these offers that seems really good but when you start to look at a map there's not really many journeys in North Yorkshire where it'd actually be useful considering both Leeds and York aren't part of it.
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
York update
All double deckers now in service 4 single deckers to come 63670 -63673. 63656 on loan for demonstrations 5 B7RLE's still in service mainly on the 10, 69275 - 69279
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Arriva Yorkshire's B7RLEs are due to be replaced with some e200s, whether its MMCs or late build standard e200s, all I know is most of them will be 6 years old and others 8, they haven't specified where they coming from, as apparently, these have come from another company

I wonder if these are coming from Warrington. Believe they've sold some E200MMC's that age recently through Ensign.

Supposedly on the West Yorkshire forum they've been spotted at St Helens.

Aye thought it might've been. Credit to Warrington mind they've got a decent little fleet after investing in a pretty much whole new fleet.
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
3 enviro 200s have turned up at Arriva Selby

SN16 OSA
SN16 OSB
YY15 NHU

I imagine these will be replacement for the MCV Evolutions, as they are non standard in the fleet.

Apparently it was tempos 1308 last day today if this is true, it means all tempos are now withdrawn
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Can't remember this being mentioned anywhere on here.

GAG have launched Go West Yorkshire.
One route on launch: The 571. Operating between Halifax and Shelf.
'Illegitimis non carborundum'
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Some of the YJ58 AY E400s are going to Thurmaston depot while 72 plate e400mmcs are coming to Yorkshire, with some arrived already.

I believe the E400s will only be in Leicester for a short while before the electrics arrive

It's a shame they couldn't send 4 of them to Whitby and sort out the X93/X94 problems for good with the B9's heading elsewhere since they're not fit for purpose there, where I'll let someone else decide but not North of the Tyne since they're not Euro 6.

Durham wouldn't be a bad shout though to get shot of 7424/7510-2/14-17 as they're all finished after being rattled on the Berwick expresses for years.
