I'm not sure how it might work, but could it be that they're waiting for one with the new logo to be delivered. But probably just going to stick a sticker on instead.

I was under the impression it was a translucent something with the logo stenciled out when it was painted.

Or something along those lines.

I hadn’t realised there are currently two E200MMCs in base fleet livery until I saw them together earlier.

5490 hasn't followed 5488 and 5491 into X66 livery, instead it's gained fleet livery.

I don't know for certain, but if all the rumours are right floating around with the 351/335/359 going to GCT and the 342 going to GNE, then I'd assume Percy Main will need some Solo's again. Probably come from these.

Can't see them using Streetlite's on it, in fact I'm not sure they actually could because of the Western side of the route.

They aren’t.

Peterlee Purples 660, 661 and Little Pinks 680 are going/have gone fleet livery because Deptford has carried an excess number of branded minibuses for some time now.

They only need three spares, of which 727 and 728 make up two of the three.

6186 and 6192 have been in service with new 2019 livery but no roadstripes applied. Is there a delay from the suppliers as the E200mmcs have not had roadstripes applied either and have been like that for a couple of months now.

5497 has now gained the Stripes, so they'll slowly be going through each of them probs

Totally agree with you.I was on 660 yesterday on 41a, there were still 2 lots of Peterlee Purples timetables in the racks!

Solos meet the capacity requirements outlined in the contract specification. If bigger buses were required, Nexus would have specified it.

Ps, a 15-plate Solo is newer than a 63-plate E200. If GNE are allocating ‘aged old crap’, what does that suggest about the E200s currently used by Stagecoach?

Could the Solo be going into the North Tyneside Rockets Brand? also I wondered if GNE hesitated painting more NTR to see if they won their tender for the services 335/351/359

I'm surprised they haven't sent more Solo's yet for the 352/353/354/355, unless there's boards I'm completely missing, half of them are pretty much dead and the Streetlite's are wasted on them.

Only one I’ve seen that’s been relatively busy on a regular basis is the 355 - can’t comment on the 353 as I don’t see it much but the 352/354 are empty most of the time.

352 carries dead due to the 37 running before it. 354 seems to carry decent loads but only I'd say as far as Backworth then just meets the 353 . 353 is used regularly as it doesn't cross with many routes that dual it. 353 is (even when the 53) it was the best route. Its simple and severe & connection many places and still does. Sadly a lot of people were not pleased when it was cut from Benton Asda as that was its most busy. 355 is doing well from what I've seen. Gives people in Longbenton to Forest Hall a link which should have existed ages ago

Idk why gne should re allocate it solos. There's them short StreetLite at Deptford which could easily be swapped for the long Corp lites that went on the 351/335/359. But if its solos. Well it'll be interesting to see how it goes

Yeah that's my feelings aswell when I see them, the 353 being the strongest.

I'm surprise they don't scrap the 352 and 354 tbh, I know there'll be moaning about the 354 but it's operationally out of their area and was a basket case before they even took it on and the 359 covers the important bit around Backworth.

You could then just run:
353: Every 30 Minutes - PVR 5
57: Wardley to Forest Hall, Every 30 Minutes - PVR 6

There's not many Cross Tyne links and would open some new links, including to the Central Station from Forest Hall and Longbenton.

Not necessarily, might go back to being the red Centurion that was worn by the 75/76
