There's always buses going up in smoke with GoNorthEast, I can think of at least 4 in the past 5 years.
Genuinely can't think of any with any other operator in the North East but I might be just forgetting something, last bus I can think of in recent'ish years is 7510 up in Northumberland which was 2013 I think and the few Temsa's around the same time. Ironic given who was in charge at the time.

Serious risk to life aswell, thats not really gonna give people confidence to use their buses

From memory, Arriva have had 2 Scanias (4663, 4644?), B7TL 7412, E400 7555, and B9 7405 in the last 10 years or so. As you say, just before that was 7510, the Temsas, and B10 4503.

Yeah, there's the Versa at Silksworth, the Enviro 200 MMC at Whickham and I want to say there's been another Omnidekka or similar that went around the Sacriston area aswell. I have a feeling there was an Omnicity in the same area aswell.

Go North East lost 3 Omnidekkas to fires. Sure one went up in Feb 2018.
I'm sure 19151 had the fire cos that was the one that was rebodied. 19380 was also rebodied but that one was deroofed in Wallsend. GNE 6130 was the Omnidekka in 2018.

So, by the discussions after this post are we concluding that bus fires have happened to all of the big three then?

6108 now off the road... seems to be a brake issue as it failed to stop at the roundabout at Battlehill Drive ... driver nearly shit himself pulled over as soon as and said I'm not driving this any further hoyed us all onto the next bus and told the other driver imagine if I was on the Coast Road!

Yep, was 19151. My records show it was back end of March 2011 when the incident happened, leading to over a year out of service, eventually returning in August 2012 after rebodying by ADL, Falkirk.

It caught fire again up in Scotland quite recently and has since been scrapped.
On the subject of Stagecoach vehicle fires: 35187 sustained fire damage when it was at Slatyford. Also didnt something happen with 11289 and that's how it ended up being repainted?

Just thankful it went round Hadrian Park first - imagine if it didn't go round Hadrian Park could of been on the coast road
The driver did ask the other driver if he had experience it before they muttered a common trigger on them but not as he is driving (electrical issue I think was said)

It had done 7 trips on 307 and been on the road since 6am so it seems the fault occurred during the day as it would of been picked up before during the day

19151 wasn't a rebody. It got repaired down at Plaxtons Workshop in Anston where they just grafted on a new rear end, the rest of the vehicle was original. Also if a vehicle is rebodied, they also receieve a new body number. For example at Stagecoach Manchester similar 19425 (MX58FUH) was destroyed by fire in 2009 where body number 8421/36 ended up being scrapped and replaced by body 9410/1.2

Yes it was 8249 at Biddick in Washington. I saw this as I was on my way to the Galleries at the time and the bus I was on for diverted round the Biddick ring road. The damage was contained to the rear of the bus but it was enough to see it scrapped shortly afterwards.
Other GNE bus fires I remember are: -
4808 - Complete burn out after engine fault I think?
4895 - this one had two fires and was scrapped after the second
4910 - which was repaired and returned to service afterwards
