A bus has demolished a stop on Newgate Street outside the old Wilko, two injuries reported.
Wing mirror issues…obviously for 6347 which was operating an X30

I'm sure that stop has been hit a few times in the past.

Think something hit it when Wiko was in the process of closing down last year.

I would've put my house on a preserved Leyland or Volvo Olympian beating any of that line up!
Agree there's a time & place and that was not clearly looking at it.

Certainly not a write off, new windscreen, bumper and corner panel and it'll be sorted

Hopefully the driver and passengers on this bus in Leeds got to safety before they succeeded in turning it into a bonfire.

I know the solos are knackered but it's a rather extreme way of getting rid of them.
More seriously, a journey to Whitby on a pleasant summer Saturday afternoon... I do hope no one was hurt.

That river can get quite high at times.
With the rubbish weather we've had for months, it's been very fortunate not to have happened when it was in flood.
The Google maps image of the location is quite interesting. A Morrisons can heading west and taking a very sharp turn on the wrong side of the road.
