That'll account for my wait of almost 20 mins at Park Lane towards Newcastle then. :p things didn't get better as primary school trip of hyper kids got on at Sunderland.

Go North East: 3863 3805 6100 6013 3885, 6099, 6026
Arriva: 7515 7473 7476 7474 7445 7446

Added three more for GNE.

"Shannon Rail" (or something like that) are doing some of the maintenance it seems. Few vans and the like at SoL station.

Much else happening through that way? Ended up getting most of the Metro replacement stuff at Pelaw, as Metro staff were out in force at Heworth. Low sun most of the morning didn't help either!

Nobody and nothing on the tracks from what I have seen on 6100!

The gates for SoL were open so I think they're using that as an access point though.

Their was quite a few at Heworth Yesterday when i was heading to Newcastle........ Alot of confused people to why all the trains was heading to Airport etc and non towards South Hytlon etc

We also waited 10 mins before setting off towards Newcastle and waited 5 mins before we got in to Heworth when we got back...

Sounds about right. There were 3 at the top of the escalators at Heworth, but none on the platform telling passengers where the Metros are headed. Baring in mind everything is running into Platform 1.

RE: Tyne and Wear Metro
None are here anymore! In the space of 15 minutes of me walking down to the Golden Lion pub and back, none at all here now.

3803 is another GNE bus out today.
RE: Tyne and Wear Metro
I went through Heworth yesterday and 6 replacement vehicles (mixture if the three operators) were parked around the back, leaving very little room for service work.
The queue at the front for the buses were huge and that was after several gave up and jumped on the 27.

There were delays apparently...

Did it not have a valid ticket?
