Stagecoach North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2014

RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings
Double dose of Trident odd-ball workings today - 17027 appeared on the 36/38 (not the school workings) while 17028 appeared on the 59/61 and remained out until the end of the day (1815 in Stockton off the 1742 61). 17032 lasted the whole day on the 52 as well finishing off the 1734 58 (the only 58 that running board works).

Due to the current roadworks on Newport Road in Middlesbrough, to assist timekeeping so many 36 workings are inter working with 38s (officially classed om the running boards as 38x bar 2 which are 390/391). These leave Hartlepool during the main daytime hours at xx16 and xx46. The remaining 2 departures (xx01 and xx31) remain 36 only boards (bar the 1031, 1401 and 1726 which starts on a school run as the 1031 should be a decker). As the combined PVR is 17 (18 during the day with the decker included), and Stockton only currently having 14 serviceable E300s, the rest of the PVR is made up by ALX300s. Normally, the evening service tends to end up entirely E300 worked but not all the time (the evening make-up is different Monday-Friday to Saturday, Saturday all 5 evening boards are 36 only boards as is the 2025 finish in Hartlepool while on weekdays that working and one other evening board are 38 boards).

36-branded E300 24102 is on the 52 this evening (on xx50 from Stockton, the 58 board). Meanwhile, the 1902 Park End finishing board (which starts on schools) is being worked by 17026.

28001 and 28010 both out on 4s today.
35156 is too, and 22196 (reserve, now available for cascade/withdrawal having been replaced by the gas buses) on 3s today too.
RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings
Stockton had 22463 on service 37 today. Also on 36/38s were 16839 and 22495. Olympian 16836 was on 12s too but didn't see any Tridents out at all.

Correction - it's 24110 only on 12/14. 17026 is on 13 and 17027 is on 14/34.

35157 on X1s... Really not sure what is supposed to be allocated to the one at Park Lane now as it's had everything in the past week or so - gas buses, ALX300s, branded E200s, plain E200s and now a Dart.

Wouldn't surprise me. It's always kicking about near the bridge at this time of morning - see it almost every morning these days.
