We have decided to combine a number of threads into one for Procters Group - mainly due to the number of changes expected to happen in the next few months to all companies within the group. I would expect to see a number of vehicles transferred around too!

Procters Group consists of a number of companies all owned by Mr Procter. These include
Procters Coaches - based at Leeming Bar
Dales & District - based at Leeming Bar too, operating the public services
Compass Royston - based at Stockton
Leven Valley - now based at Stockton too, as part of CR fleet/depot
Esk Valley - based at Whitby
There are other brand names too including Coach2.com and the Procters Bus & Coach Sales arm of the business, plus Swift Signs and the Procters Motorsport team.

Me and a mate visited Compass Royston earlier to get some photos in the depot and while there was nothing new (yet!), it was interesting to see the Leven Valley fleet there, definitely stands out amongst the Compass fleet with the yellow! We also had a look at the Procters' depots, and although there was no-one there we did manage to note down all of the coaches at the "farm" (the one you can see from the A1) - as with Compass a lot of the higher end fleet was away, although the very smart Astromega was in, along with one of the Tourliners and the Bova Magiq. Notable omissions were the entire Lochs & Glens liveried fleet of Jonckheeres, which must have been away.

Yeah last time I went past there were 3 or 4 but none were there today. Only one of the Tourliners was in too (out of the 3) - the schools fleet were there but many of the higher end tour fleet were out.

Nothing has changed.
The Astromega was parked where the Lochs and Glens usually are, with several unidentified coaches at the back - away from the A1.

Leven Valley have registered two new services this morning to start on 6th May. I reckon these are a replacement for the current 'R66' service running between Stockton and Teesside Park, extended back to start at Norton and Hartburn.

When do these start?

Services 18/19, 45, 436, 455/456, 492, 603/604 and 605/6/7 are already operated.

Services 77 and 85/86 are the former evening services 577 and 505/506 respectively (85/86 also run all day Sunday while 77 only runs evenings all week) and start next Monday (31st March 2014)

Service 84 and 88/89 are new services start on Monday 31st March 2014. Service 88 is, as stated above, a part-replacement for the 588/589 service in the Billingham area while the 89 is simply a positioning service for the 88 via Portrack Lane between Stockton and the Transporter. Service 84 is, in effect, the current Arriva service 6 between Stockton and Stillington (abit returning from Stillington the same way rather than operating the present loop) and additionally serves North Tees Hospital but from June takes the route of the former 584/585 between The Horse and Jockey Pub (opposite Summerville Tesco) and Carlton (the road between Carlton and Thorpe Thewles is closed while the weak bridge is replaced).

The A66/H66 replaces the R66/66x from Tuesday the 6th May (although the last date of operation for the R66/66x is Saturday 3rd May).

Notes from Whitby suggest former Procters Vario W995JNF is logo'd up for Esk Valley and was being used on Whitby towns today. Backward step. Possibly freeing up the Darts for transfer??

Weekday evening 85/86 works off one of the 455/456, while it seems the 77 works off the other (from 1925/1946 respectively).

The evening Leven Valley work operates as followed:

The 1855 85 from Stockton to Portrack ASDA and the 1905 86 from Portrack ASDA to Elton Park and Stockton uses a bus off the 455/456 (the on-request Flatts Lane 456)
From 1935, that is replaced by the other vehicle off the 455/456
The 1848 77 from Stockton using the vehicle off the 45 (finish in Middlesbrough at 1808). This is replaced by a vehicle off the 18/19 at 1948 (the vehicle works the 1705 18 to Stainton and the 1751 19 back).

GX55 LNF is latest to gain leven valley fleetnames
