Indeed, the Olympian is used as straight after the mealbreak it goes over to Charles Thorp School at Ryton and does the dupe of the 875. The job my dad does. He also usually goes through there after doing the 11:40 till 12:40 mealbreak on the 706/707.

Should do, I understand that the Solo SRs were only brought in until they received the Electric Solos from Yourbus.

Yes they were only short term loans, which have lasted a bit longer than i thought they would!

Are the electric ones out in service yet? I saw one of the mini SRs on there yesterday.

I do believe some have been out in service on the Cathedral Bus but I think there has only been 1 out and the other allocation has been a SR, I also saw one on a School Service for the North Durham Academy. The 09 reg Vario has also been re-registered as OO03 STX.
RE: Stanley Travel
E200 MH07 EPY was on the Lanchester NDA Scholars tonight.
Solo ON02 STX now carries 'Stanley Travel' logos

Also, I think there is a storage area next to the Stadium of Light and I believe S4 STX is parked there school terms (don't know about school holidays) because the driver who uses the bus lives at Sunderland and his first run is the 939 which starts over that way so rather than go back and forth every day he just parks it there. I just thought I would let you know just in case anybody wants to get a few photos of it.

I've heard bits and pieces suggesting S4STX stored at Albatross' depot in Sunderland but that may just be nearby?

Yeah probably, it is near the Stadium of Light anyway. I don't know the name of the place, just know its over that way.

I think that's the one he's referring to. Albatross' depot is located on Easington St, Sunderland - minutes away from the Stadium of Light.

Pretty sure I've seen photos of it in the past.
RE: Stanley Travel
The 63 reg Solo will be appearing on the 968 soon, if anyone fancies a shot.
Saw it earlier on the scholars run.

The blinds didn't appear to be programmed (or working).

Solo on the 968 again.
Everyone's favourite lampost hugger hasn't been on for a while now - not sure it has been sighted elsewhere...

When you say 'lampost hugger' i'm guessing you mean the Enviro? If you are, I saw it on the Lanchester NDA scholars a couple of times last week.

That's the one!
Missing in action again today from its former home on the 968 - O005 STX was on it this morning.

The Enviro was on the 968 quite a bit when it returned after the accident damage, but missing for quite a while now.
Wasn't sure if they had sold it on, but by all accounts, it is just allocated elsewhere these days.

It was sat in the depot next to Y40 STX this afternoon so its not like it wasn't VOR.

OO05STX then moved on to the 23 at some point after the 968 as I passed it at The Galleries at 15.15 today.

To replace M1 STX on the 'Glentons' contract. Glentons say that the coaches used can only get 5 year old. M1 STX is now 6 years however CN10 HFY is 4 so it will only get used for a year.

In other news, Enviro 200 MH07 EPY has been re-registered and is now E2 STX.

Cheers! That would make sense! Do you know if there will be a Shearings liveried vehicle again this summer?

Im not too sure on that. I don't know whether it was a 1 off or it will be a yearly occurance.
RE: Stanley Travel
For those who ever wonder why OO05 STX isn't around it was taken off the road by VOSA at the North Durham Academy this morning due to its rear Engine flap thing (like the boot of a car, don't know what you call it) not closing properly.
