Didn't get id, but just after 11, the driver of the 4 (fully blinded up for Heworth), decided to drive from Houghton to Fencehouses, via the A690 and Rainton Bridge, missing out Dairy Lane and Chilton Moor.

If running late, it seems the wrong way to go to catch up time...

Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 6042 (V306 LGC) is now fully repaired after receiving maintenance at Riverside and has consequently transferred back to Deptford for use on the npower shuttle services.

Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 3963 (NK06 JXD) has therefore been returned to Riverside.

was lucky to get a photo of 3963 last Saturday on X35 to Hartlepool that day there was to Geminis on 6099 and 3963 to separate versions to a Gemini

Oof i was lucky then - that was my school bus this morning. I also assume 3833 has been withdrawn because of its broken destination.

Wasn't that the one you always hated?

Indeed. It was only because it went up hills at a snails pace. I could have probably walked up one faster but apart from that, cracking bus. Lovely engine noise and a silent 'woosh' when the doors open (which is down to air).

National Express news - due to issues with Yourbus (a high number of VORs reported, resulting in operation recently by Parks of Hamilton), Go North East will temporary taking on operation of the 591/594 between London and Edinburgh. Owing to the overnight nature of the 594, it seems they will be worked by ex-Yourbus B9Rs 7116 (FJ60 KVM) and 7118 (FJ60 KVP) as these two have crew seats.

Information from NX Yahoo Group

EDIT: Sorry, only just seen that - apparently happened a fornight ago and since been replaced by Bruces of Salburgh

Go North East's website has been updated to correct a few inaccuracies... All of the Euro kite mark images should be fully up-to-date now, and a couple of other things should be altered in the near future too (old/missing paper bus images, etc)... Wink

A check of Go North East's website didn't come up with anything. Do you know any of the intermediate points served?

Some of you may be pleased to know that i have found a replacement 'hate' bus for recently withdrawn Olympian 3814. In the form of Lolyne 3862 for the same reason, sluggish speed up banks.
