My team has done very shite this week. It seems that when I put a new player in which has been doing well, they go downhill (Tom Heaton)
RE: NEB Fantasy Football League - 2014/15
Dropped a right one by swapping my team about for today.

Couldn't see Sunderland scoring many, so put my Stoke defenders in the starting XI.
Dropped Sigurdsson to the bench by mistake too...

Looking forward to seeing the standings at the end of GW7. I had tyresmoke this week in the head to head, and I've had a good weekend by the looks of things. Well above average again. Olegs Meercat Babies are also getting beat as it stands by AdamY's team.

The head to head league is very tight, but there is a bit of a gap opening up at the top and bottom of the NEB league.

I did - not that it made much difference like.

Just found this, with mention of the original series.
Absolutely fantastic - google "Phoenix from the flames", if you have never seen them.

No completely forgot,  meaning I still had Costa in my team even though he was suspended Undecided

First week of the Cup competition today.
Anyone knocked out or anyone still in?

So as well as any leagues or h2h tournaments you are in, any points accrued this week count towards your cup run.

I'm in - got 88 this week.

Same here, not quite that high, but the opposition only got 45.

It looks like they have just added the bonus points, as my score has gone uo a bit.

Is anyone else's team being ravaged by injuries and suspensions?

Two suspended this weekend and two injured. All decent players, so not going to get rid.

I must admit, I stopped paying any attention to this weeks ago and haven't made any attempt to update or manage my team.

Maybe I should just call it a day and quit.
RE: NEB Fantasy Football League - 2014/15
I've used my wildcard to redesign my team this week, and its paid off to an extent. I'm running away with the head to head league, and there's a bit of a gap opening at the top of the normal league. 3 points between 1st and 2nd though!

RE: NEB Fantasy Football League - 2014/15
Done ok points wise, taking into account I only had half a team - for the second week running.

All my star players are suspended or injured. Not keen on getting rid of them and not being able to buy them back due to the values increasing.

RE: NEB Fantasy Football League - 2014/15
Just realised, there is a smaller set of fixtures this week, Chelsea Tottenham QPR and Leicester aren't playing, meaning if you have anyone from these teams they won't get you anything this weekend (although there are games Tuesday and Wednesday next week as well), just thought it would be worth pointing out Smile
RE: NEB Fantasy Football League - 2014/15
My team has been doing horrific at the moment, and I'm thinking of making a few transfers to see if they pay off.

Might bring Ozil in for Sanchez, and Rose for van Aanholt, who isn't guaranteed game time, as this week will be crucial if I want to get up the table.

Zouma if you haven't got him?

Is he guaranteed game time though?
I'd imagine there is a rotation risk.

Danny Rose is probably guaranteed and with fixtures against Swansea and QPR...

He's been getting picked over Cahill lately, so worth a punt.
