Agree - bet they'd have attracted more attention if it was a free event which allowed for donations to do certain things.

Stagecoach NE's Open Day at Stockton was really good for this - they raised a lot of money for charity thanks to the stalls and various things that you could do (ie bus through the wash) but these were all optional after a free entry.

I checked from last year (Crewe), and it was only £5 per adult, with U16s being free on the basis they're accompanied by an adult. Good value imo.

Freightliner 70014 will be running 478K from Leeds F.L.T to Tees Dock F.L.T today. It is due to pass Middlesbrough station at 12:34.

It is only the second time this has happened.

It will make it's return journey on 478K from Tees Dock F.L.T to Leeds today, also. Passing Middlesbrough station at 15:08.

DB recently started a new service from Teesport to Mossend Euroterminal in Scotland, with an onward service to Grangemouth.

It's been playing havoc with our (DRS') 4A13 Grangemouth to Aberdeen service too since the staff deal with the Teesport service before they sort ours out. Regularly been 10-40 mins late recently, I'm not sure who picks up the delay minutes though - I think it'll be the groundstaff at G'mth!

First one is some sort of track machine as there's a stoneblower in there at present.
