Do you know when you seen 7458 on 57a/33/X14?

Can't remember the exact time, must have been around late morning.
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - February 2015
A gas bus (4807) is working the evening 19:10 to tow law and the 22:10 service 1B to crook from Darlington while the other bus partaking in the evening 1Bs is 1509
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - February 2015
1517 has replaced 1407 on X1 and is currently heading into Darlington

EDIT: They've now swapped back over after 1 round trip.
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - February 2015
Extra sparkle was brought to at least one journey to Berwick today courtesy of 7518 appearing on the X18. At least it doesn't have specific route branding I guess...
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - February 2015
1909/23/4 on 15
1445 on 21a
1901 likewise worked at least 1 trip on the 21a this afternoon, additionally working to Stokesley on the 1750 29a
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - February 2015
7806 on 1
1580 replaced 7492 on 20
1403 on 1

Shit allocation skills from Ashington and Blyth. 7491 was parked around at the old depot gates, but that lazy arse of a supervisor found a walk to 1580 easier.
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - February 2015
1458/9 on 21a, while 4658 later appeared on 28/28B

1512 meanwhile started the day on 5/5a, was replaced at 1135 and later ended up on 9/27a - on the night board that works 17/27

1799 was on the X1 again today, along with a 59 reg solo, whilst 1405 on the 1/5. Perhaps this is to ensure that 1/5 has a full pulsar allocation

Oh dear!

Maybe they are sick of people moaning about small buses on the 1/5/5A (it's not just me, honest). No doubt there will be complaints about them on the X1 instead.

Redcar spare Sapphire 1440 unusually spent the day on the 81s today

Probably, but loadings on the X1 are slightly less than the 1/5 so it does make some sense.

I thought the X1 would have had better loadings than the 1/5/5A although when you factor just Darlington Centre - Harrowgate Hill much of the time on the 5/5A I could probably see why it has slightly higher numbers.

Pleased to hear this as it was beginning to annoy me having Solos turn up.

1450 on the 21a - should be the one that goes onto an X21 this morning.

The 1 always has standing passengers in the morning peak, whereas there always seems the odd seat spare on the X1. The only time I've seen the X1 with a lot of standing passengers was on Saturdays in the run up to Christmas.

1438 on 81 - yet again another Pulsar gone walkies!

7518 is allocated to the X18 today, currently in Widdrington Station, heading towards Newcastle.

I was told that this is how they cover branded buses.

Sapphire
-Replaced by spare Sapphire E400
-- Replaced by a Max vehicle
---if Max vehicle not available, allocate plain E400
----if plain E400 not available allocate other plain branded vehicle

Max
- Replaced by plain E400
--if plain E400 not available replace with plain branded vehicle

I bet bloody moustache is doing allocations again.

1799 replaced a faulty 1405 on Wed and stayed at the outstation Thurs. 2859 was a replacement for a pulsar that had a  broken door glass
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - February 2015
1426 - 11
2868 - 1
4806 - 21 (always seems to be 4811-14 when I see this)

7458 on either 20/X20 or 35s

If 7518 is still on X18s, moustache has done fuck all to swap buses.

Was on the 35, I saw it in Morpeth bus station this morning while I was waiting for my X18. (7532)

A positive is that the X18's I saw were made up of: 7531/2 and either 7530 or 7533, as well as 7514. So I think it was completely MAX operated, with the exception of 7518 of course.

An thanks,

Someone needs to tell "moustache" the difference between Max & Sapphire.

And also that something's wrong if there's a StreetLite on standby!

4659 was parked in Morpeth bus station when I arrived also, so maybe when 7518 arrived there it was switched?

Unlikely like, as 7518 looked pretty busy, and I'm sure the passengers wouldn't all have fit onto 4659
