I wish bus operators would start doing it with the driver's view CCTV footage, with morons cutting them up pulling out of junctions, blocking box junctions off, and generally poor parking. While not quite like the Metro footage, I have seen Bus CCTV footage, the BBC sometimes have a programme about Insurance Scamming and it often includes crash for cash claims against bus companies and uses CCTV to show what happened

(05 Mar 2015, 1:32 am)Bus_User wrote How is it a joke? Considering many football fans probably finish work at 5, get home and then head out again then unlike a Saturday then the amount of people travelling in a short space of time is more likely hence the delays. We have the same with buses. Unforeseen traffic levels, foreseen match day (and/or other events) traffic, and match day loadings on buses. These all cause delays to service and some are of the opinion that timetables should be altered accordingly to allow for a realistic "just in case" timetable rather than a consistent and less confusing one.
How many football trains were put on and whether more should be put on is another debate mind!

Michael, for example, might think that Stagecoach buses running around in trios at 17:00 in Sunderland is "a joke". Happens every day, with some days worse than others.
(05 Mar 2015, 7:01 am)Michael wrote It is [emoji14]Without wishing to get too off-topic - bus operators are in more of a position to be able to change their routes to assist in combatting traffic whereas Nexus/DB aren't.
The new traffic light system at St Mary's, all the traffic lights in the city centre, (i think the whole road near subway needs redoing), and the current works down the beach/Whitburn does not help my service at all.

Refurbishment work will begin 13 March - 23 March, during this time the lift will not be in service. Customers who require the lift to access platform 1 (towards South Hylton) are advised to use the lift to platform 2, travel to East Boldon, change platform and continue their journey. Customers who require the lift to leave platform 1, are advised to continue their journey to St Peter's, change platform and return to Seaburn platform 2 and use the lift. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Is there really any point?

Also me and my mate got stuck in a lift in the Baltic Art Centre, he was scared of lifts start off with it, Once the thing got moving he was nearly crying as he was not expecting it, he panicked that much to the point that I now dont really like getting in lifts
(09 Mar 2015, 7:04 am)Dan wrote Michael - don't get the Metro this morning. They're disrupted as usual.
Just been an announcement saying there are delays to service and when the next Metros are due (13 minutes for mine - which seems to be the 0650 train judging by the people on it: 25 mins late!) and two are running in tandem towards South Hylton. Due now and 3 mins respectively at SoL.
EDIT: Another due 2 mins behind the second train going to South Hylton........
