Stagecarriage of Grangetown

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown
(02 Jan 2015, 4:40 pm)tyresmoke wrote The other one (KF52UAE) was on the 271 - both have been re-certified with no standees as a coach, which don't have to be DDA until 2020 of course.

There were certainly standees the second time I seen the 87 go out. I hadn't seen Kuyoyo's post until I was on the bus back up to Sunderland though.

(02 Jan 2015, 9:16 pm)tyresmoke wrote Couple of updates from the Stagecarriage stable....

Scania VEZ9646 and Olympian L487NTO were both sold in the last few months.

New arrivals recently are Volvo B10M Premiere's M407BFG and N564XSA, Olympian N703LTN and Leyland Olympian H728DDL

Total fleet of 18 - I've completed the fleetlist now too Smile http://northeastbuses.co.uk/fleet/operat...erator=103

And it's now been collected by it's new owner. Glad to say it's for preservation though Smile

Impressive!
Hopefully if Stagecarriage is used to host an enthusiasts' trip again, a ride on that can be arranged.

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown
The latest purchase is another Solo - KX04HRL, sister to already owned KX04HRJ.

Information as always from John Atkin on 'buses northeast' Facebook group.
RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday: KX04HRJ
Wednesday/Friday: DE04XEZ or R556LGH, also cover when KX04HRJ is unavailable (due to the corner at the end of Albany Bridge, only short wheelbase vehicles can manage it so the 2 B10BLEs can't work the 87)
RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown
Following the unfortunate news that local operator Leven Valley Coaches will cease trading after Friday 20th March, Stagecarriage are stepping in to replace parts of their network that would otherwise leave large parts of Teesside without a service

Existing Services 455/456, 492, 45 and 84 have been hopefully secured for operation from Saturday 21st March, albeit with minor timetable revisions.

Keep yourself up to date by following us here on Facebook, More details soon!....

Glad to see someone else stepping in, lets hope these new routes don't put pressure on their current routes they run.

Does that mean all the area's which Leven Valley used to serve, are now covered once again?

Solo KX04HRL has now entered service (in fact, it first appeared yesterday but everyone missed it) - seen covering sister HRJ on 87 today.

After originally being planned to be used on the 271, it will instead be for the 88 to allow HRJ to be used on the 87 (for now).

Curious question, what will happen with the Vehicles in the Leven Valley Fleet, could they not be passed onto Stagecoach/Stagecarriage.

I would imagine the newer members would be passed to Dales & District (B7RLE would replace the 03 reg Cadet on the 73, and new SR likely to go too I guess) and the rest sold. Will put any details I hear on the Procters thread.

Rumour at the minute is that SN05HDF is staying to go on the Teesside Uni park and ride, if not it could well be YJ64DXL.

Another rumour is that NX59BYC, is staying as a school bus, with it being fitted with seat belts!
