Not this time round. Once the 6 B9TLs arrive at Whitby, 7484-90/3/4 are to head back north to release DB250s for cascade to Durham etc.
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
When the Streetlires go on the 306, will the 43, 44 and 45 get 8 of the 16 Pulsars at Jesmind as well as the a few B10BLE's?
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
It has already been posted on here that the X21 and 35 interwork on evenings and Sunday.
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
Not particularly rare but noteworthy......

Stockton-based 4046 is on Redcar services X3/X3a, and sister 4063 is likewise on-loan on the 63

1616 on Service X66.

X66 is currently all over the place, possibly because of the Riverside festival in Stockton, I saw an Omnicity and 1616 running together and I got on one that was at least 15 minutes late and was completely full with standees'

Even the drivers were taking the mick, suggesting that they can only provide the best for their Sapphire customers.

Tyresmoke, you'll have to tell us if there's anything in the extra Customer Services training about covering your face and giving photographers a cheeky two fingers too!

I'll let you know when I do mine... Can't imagine there is like but you never know.
Safe to say Ashington haven't had the best of starts with their Sapphire project! Our driver who went up to collect 4508 said the one he was on broke down...

Sure you'll all be told the obvious - that you're representing the company! At a time when the company has a competition on for customers to take photos of the buses, drivers certainly shouldn't be acting like prats.

There was two in the depot - one at the back with the two Spectras, and one in the normal line up.

Think 1712 was down to be put back into reserve on the latest fleet allocation, so shall note its allocation to service 2 here.

7809 on X5.

As ever, top notch Blyth allocations - and these have been spotted in Newcastle, in 10 minutes.

One at the back might have been 7504, having seen a photo of it yesterday on Flickr by diagtest parked next to what I think is a Lowlander (maybe 7438?)
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
Could you imagine a Sapphire X10 / X11 service from Blyth? Here's the next annoucements from Gary and Lisa:

- Next stop, Ridley Park, alight here to play
- Where's the square? Yes, it's Old Hartley Square
- Can you see the ships? It's St Mary's Lighthouse
- You've guessed it, it's Whitley Bay
- Where's the hunters? Yes, it's Foxhunters
- Got a pain? Well here's Rake Lane
- There's no mill but here's Billy Mill
- Next stop, Silverlink Retail Park, alight here for the shops
- Another square? Yes you've guessed it, it's Willington Square
- There's no cross or island but here's Holy Crosz
- There's no trains but here's Station Road
- Next stop, Benfield Road
- Fancy bevy, there's a house on the corner, it's Corner House
- Next stop, Cradlewell
- Next stop Civic Centre
- Next stop, St Mary's Place
- Next stop, Haymarket Bus Station, but where's ths Hay?

4063 is one of the 5 Prestiges earmarked for withdrawal once the B10BLEs are in service at Stockton, however Redcar-based 4080 is now off after engine failure which may see one of Stockton's 5 cling on for a bit longer
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
Ok, I'll get to the poinf, basically, a Sapphire service would see the actual Sapphire fleet on the never never for the X10 / X11 constantly working the 308. Anyway, heres some more for this time, the X4:

- It's sandy, Here's South Beach
- Fancy a cuppa? Here's Deleval Hall
- It might not be old but it's New Hartley
- Fancy an Ice Cream? Here's Seaton Deleval
- It's flat but it's Seghill
- There's no campers but here's Camperdown
- It's pink, you've guessed it, it's Quorum Business Park
- It's windey but not long anyway, here's Longbenton
- Next stop, Newcastle Haymarket Bus Station

Rarer than most of the stuff you post.

Yes, and Friday was on X93s! As was 4711. And 4707 on X4.
Saturday also 1739 on X3.

WAS I should have said, as the engine blew before Thursday was out!
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
A partly branded Solo is on the 17 today - 1035/1235/1435/1635 etc. departures from Rosehill.
