(22 Jun 2015, 6:23 pm)aureolin Glad you've told me that. I've never been to the Whitley Bay rally before, and I'd have made that mistake.
It'd be rude not to when it's in your neck of the woods!

(22 Jun 2015, 6:29 pm)citaro5284 Actually its a nice walk from Monkseaton Metro straight down to the Sea Front.
(22 Jun 2015, 6:42 pm)aureolin I've just had a look at that, and it's not too far at all actually. I might give that a try, as it'll save having to do 3 buses.

(22 Jun 2015, 6:58 pm)MurdnunoC I used to like The Crescent at Seaton Delaval.
It seemed to have gone a little up-market the last time I was there, but the ice-creams were still nice.

(22 Jun 2015, 7:00 pm)S813 FVK The 1 terminates at Bournemouth Gardens which is where the rally is held. It uses the car park (which is where the rally is held) to turn around.
(22 Jun 2015, 7:00 pm)Tom Yeah it does. Turns around at the Bandstand.

(22 Jun 2015, 4:13 pm)LeeCalder I'm quite looking forward to going to this rally also, although it might be a bit of a nightmare for me to get to.
I'm hoping Go North East bring a couple, John thinks they will. As well as this, I really do hope Arriva bring something as they are always some of the most welcoming at the rally with letting people onto the buses and having a play with the destination blinds etc. I hope one arsehole hasn't ruined it for everyone else at not only this rally but future rally's also.

(22 Jun 2015, 8:39 pm)Multi21 Arriva will not be attending anymore rallies this year as the drivers don't want to risk their jobs anymore. Think the next time Arriva will attend a rally is metrocenter 2016. Congratulations to the culprit. I would like to know why my post about it had been deleted.
