(22 Jun 2015, 4:13 pm)LeeCalder wrote I'm quite looking forward to going to this rally also, although it might be a bit of a nightmare for me to get to.
I'm hoping Go North East bring a couple, John thinks they will. As well as this, I really do hope Arriva bring something as they are always some of the most welcoming at the rally with letting people onto the buses and having a play with the destination blinds etc. I hope one arsehole hasn't ruined it for everyone else at not only this rally but future rally's also.

Think the next time Arriva will attend a rally is metrocenter 2016. Congratulations to the culprit. I would like to know why my post about it had been deleted.
(22 Jun 2015, 4:22 pm)danpick wrote Same it's not that easy for me either.requires at least 3 buses either 27 or 88 to Jarrow then 9 to North Shields then 1 to Whitley Bay but there is a long way there thats metro from mine to Whitley Bay via the coast would take me an hour depending on travel but i will be going anyways
(22 Jun 2015, 6:59 pm)Davie wrote Does the 1 go near?yes it does you only require 1 bus
(22 Jun 2015, 7:01 pm)Davie wrote Thanks Robert.
Cheers mate, hopefully a B7 will be allocated (I never thought I'd ever in my life say that)

(23 Jun 2015, 5:13 pm)LeeCalder wrote Baz do you realise how far the Whitley Bay Metro station is from the rally?
(22 Jun 2015, 5:36 pm)Jimmi wrote Well the earliest I can get to Whitley Bay is around 1150!
(25 Jun 2015, 6:04 pm)Tommy_1581 wrote However nice it would be to meet forum members at the rally, it would just be too much of a faff. I'm not going to be spending 1hr 10min on a refurb if I'm unlucky. I might try for the MetroCentre rally in 2016.

If it's before that I can probably arrange for someone I know to give me a lift into Bishop or get a taxi.
