RE: 2019 Blue Arrow Concept
I like it,i prefer Blue Arrow over Little Coaster, dunno why they axed the 11 to the Metrocentre, always seemed a popular service to me,the 1 took over (now 1A/B) and is doing better.....apparently,personally,i think it was just an excuse to put those horrible solos on that route that Percy Main swapped with Sunderland
Kind Regards
Tez

Yea. I'd personally like to see little coaster replacement with blue arrow. At least it give a bit of sparkling to the route and also yea I never got to ride the 11 back then

Sure little coasters has more meaning than blue arrow; which you've often said doesn't mean anything

Part of the branding doesn't make sense and plus even if we did have a new coaster. Even then the name wouldn't make sense anyway

How so. Surely more sense than blue arrow

Well most of it says. 7 days a week till late. That's no sense since the GCT take over of evenings and Sundays

If the coaster got debrand. The "little coaster" name would make zero sense as it wouldn't be a little coaster anymore.

Idk just my opinion though

Go North East’s tickets are still valid on the GCT operated journeys - surely that means those services run early til late, seven days per week, in the eyes of most customers..?

Fixed that for you there, this is GCT we're talking about.

Eh? Aren't the "Little Coasters" named simply because they're:

A) Minibuses
B) Working along/near the coast

The brand name would still make total sense to me if the Coaster brand was discontinued. But maybe I'm applying a bit too much logic there.

Believe the idea was because you used them to connect to the Coaster at Wallsend and to highlight them running with the Coaster through Howdon.

It's become a bit lost now though since the 42/42A was curtailed at Wallsend and the 19 was added to it which doesn't connect to the Coaster (sensibly) at all (if it's even part of it anymore since there's not enough buses nowadays) and both routes go nowhere near the coast infact they run parallel to it.
RE: 2019 Blue Arrow Concept
19 Connects with Coaster at Low Flatworth and North Shields. Though these days Little Coaster Minibuses aren't used on it now.

42/42A still connects with the Coaster at Wallsend. It also means all the main service network at PM have Coast related brandings. I wouldn't be suprised if the Coaster brand will be refreshed when the B5LHs go through the engine modification programme.

1A/1B - Coaster
19/41/42/42 - Little Coaster
309/310/311 - Cobalt and Coast

Was mainly thinking of the 11 when I posted like, but yeah granted the 42/42A don't have much of a coast connection - bar perhaps the idea that they take you to (nearer) the coast.
RE: 2019 Blue Arrow Concept
I wouldn't even class the 19 Little Coaster as its operation by longer buses (for social distancing I think plus the loss of 702/3/4 and its in Northumberland for most of the route anyway. Which is why GCT only do Northumberland Park to Ferry Landing

Also why does the 41 run really late by GNE yet the 19/42/42A & 11 finish at 6ish
