[Don't think there will be much as they only have one service that operates at present - 710]
RE: Glen Valley Travel
A bit of a minor incident / embarrassment in Alnwick Bus Station for Glen Valley Tours yesterday. Apparently the back wheel on one of their Solos caught fire whilst on the 473. A passenger phoned the fire brigade and 2 fire engines turned up to the bus station. I hope the Arriva bus in the background wasn't in a hurry to leave.

RE: Glen Valley Travel
just spotted a load of differences with 273 267 270 service allocations
273 allocated either yn03 wza optare alero/ or optare solo sr yj60 kgz
267 kp51 ufd or mercedes sprinter
270 either optare solo sr or optare alero

this is due to NA52 NJV being V.O.R
RE: Glen Valley Travel
when i was talking to dave who is usually on the 464 from berwick said that in march time glenvalley are updating their fleet and that means the 52 reg solo's will most likely go and 51 reg plaxton beaver will go as well.

p.s if i had possession of a voice recorder which i don't i would have recorded what he said

That's rather odd allocation, normally coaches.

How do you think it is in a bad state? I only rode it a few months back and it seemed fine to me, looked well maintained inside and I have to say it shifted quite well. About the only thing that seemed wrong with it to me was the destination screen. https://flic.kr/p/G7pd9N

To answer that it had rather tatty seats the led board wasnt working the driver didn't have a 470 piece so she put 473 wooler on also the back looks a disgrace.
Also im not sure coaches run the 470 id say from past occasions that yellow taxi thing appears upon the route
