Sunday, 16 May 2021 - and Sunday 23 May 2021: Southbound closure of Wearmouth Bridge, Sunderland – Stagecoach Services 3, 4, 13, 16, 23, E1, E2 and E6

Only real change is the 23 is only going to be Thorney Close to Holmeside this is due to unavoidable time constraints associated with the length of the pronounced diversionary routes until around 1900.

Whilst gallivanting around the North East post lockdown, I have observed that Edinburgh-based bus operator, Lothian Buses, have seemingly started buses around the Derwentside area.

While, strictly speaking, Lothian Buses are not an independent operator, I notice there isn't a place to discuss their operations on this forum and couldn't find better place to put than here.

So I'd love to know what services they operate and do they offer the flat-fare system down here as they do up in Edinburgh?

Seen this on PicClick for sale. I remember this one very well when it was at Blyth in the same livery!

Just thought i'd start this thread to allow people to post their branding, and other graphical ideas/designs. (If there is already a thread on this, just delete this one).

I was on a school time duplicate on Friday (30/4/21) with my son,and a woman sadly had to be denied getting on the bus, which leads me to a question,i know GNE number their school buses with 'S', so why dont Arriva do the same instead of putting a piece of paper in the window and having the destination show its normal route number and destination?

Noticed last week GNE bus full dests flash between the route number and destination and route number bus full due to social distancing or Just route number and destination to route number and bus full in large writing on voltra, got to admit that's not a good idea as that just attracts people to put their hand out for an already full bus. GNE bus full dests should be like the Scottish citylink coach full dests which just say coach full in big writing with no route number GNE (and indeed Arriva and Stagecoach) should adapt that style as noone will even put their hand out for it as they'll think it's not in service or something. I'll attach a picture of a full 900 using the coach full dest.
