Talking about reducing service if needed in the current climate, I can see the following being temporarily suspended:
- X39

- Are the late evening journeys on the X30 & X70 performing well?

- Are there plans to introduce a Sunday X31 to create a 30 minute Stanley - Newcastle service on Sundays? If not, are there plans to upgrade capacity and use E400s on the X5/16A/X30 Sunday boards?

i was waiting to get on 8304 yesterday ( ticket machine broke and needed restarting) and i notice on the doors it had " gold standard"? ive used the search function and it doesn't look like the writing was there when it was a Labton worm? Also notice the front bumper is connected to the bus with a 1 inch bit of metal.

There appears to be a broken down Angel StreetDeck outside the Red Lion in Plawsworth.
Couldn't catch which one because I don't eat my carrots!

34605/11 are on 23 today, 35188 on the 18.

28031 has been involved in a bad RTA this morning on Washington Road in Sunderland.

Really looks nasty that bump, hope everyone on board both vehicles is okay.

Do the Mercedes sprinters still do the 689 on a Saturday, I’ve got a Saturday off tomorrow and was going to do the 689 if there on it

It's already clear that a lot of businesses are struggling already, before we have even reached a stage where travel is strictly limited and shops are shut but it also stands to reason that the pandemic is going to hit bus and coach companies particularly hard. I can't see smaller companies like Scarlet Band making it through to the other side but we already know that the likes of arriva and first bus are not doing all that well and I'm wondering if they would even survive the inevitable months of reduced usage, never mind the possibility of a few weeks of skeleton or even no services at all.

Does anyone know if the 50 is due new buses at any time soon? Some of the omnicites starting to look tired - but then again they run in durham alongside arriva so you could run an Olympian and it would fit in!
