Teesside Airport is to be re-introduced.
Ben has been sharing details of his latest scheme, which will involve demolition of the existing station, re-building it and then introducing shuttle buses between the station and the terminal.

Admin may want to place this elsehwere:
As some will have discovered the regime has issues new laws out of parliament that directly affect those who use cameras and videocameras, including mobile phones. As true to a paranoid right wing state, filming in public places could be construed as Terrorism. Police forces immediately added 'Filming' to reports for the public to click online and give details of anyone filming or taking photographs. This is a rapid change to civil rights, primarily as a result of the guilty verdict found against Magomed-Husejn Dovtaev. The problem for enthusiasts is the majority won't know where is classed as a 'sensitive area'. In addition the fact that police forces have added this on the online reporting pages, enthusiasts will have be aware around residential areas. There's always one who would make a report.....

North East are in the process of taking 7 ADL Enviro 300s made surplus from Wythenshawe depot recently.
The first one - 2740 CX58EVL - arrived yesterday afternoon and another (2745) is due later today. They wear the old Sapphire livery and still branded for route 263 that they used to run on.
They’re additional spare vehicles as I think someone has realised the spares % is looking a little low across the southern depots.

Good morning all and compliments of the season.
I love the new site layout, but would offer a small suggestion. Could a new post on the menu page be highlighted a little clearer, like in the individual threads, a blue dot.
Best wishes

NUFC have confirmed they have received an allocation of 6000 tickets for the Cup Game on January 6th at the SOL.
A condition of this is it will be a bubble trip which means supporters must board a bus at St James's Park and then travel to Sunderland on official transport.
This has happened before (but it was that long ago that Classic and Moor Dale held the line!) and will require a lot of resource (circa 60-70 vehicles)
I would imagine this could possibly include pretty much every operator out there - the GNE Voyager fleet, JH Coaches, Phoenix, Henry Cooper, LG Coaches et al.
There was quite a bit of damage as a result of Sunderland fans throwing objects at windows last time around (the sight of the combustion engine presumably a new thing to them at the time) so bring out your old London tat!
