What changes are we proposing?

Service 939 currently operates on a Monday – Friday connecting Sunderland – Southwick/Waterview Park/Concord/Washington Galleries/Team Valley. Trips depart at 0610 from Concord, 0635, 0655 from Sunderland and 1608, 1638, 1708 from Team Valley.

We are proposing to cancel the Monday – Friday 0655 trip from Sunderland towards Team Valley. During September/October 2022 an average of 6 customers travelled on this trip.

We are proposing to cancel the Monday – Friday 1638 trip from Team Valley towards Sunderland. During September/October 2022 an average of 6 customers travelled on each of this trip.

Got sent these recently. 

Quite an interesting read about SMS and some of their old routes.

Interesting to compare to what exists now and what's not going to exist in a few weeks.

This might get messy. 

What is your understanding of franchising as it relates to proposals for bus services in the north east?

Does it mean that NECA would take ‘ownership’ of all routes in the area and then award franchises to operators?

Would operators have to bid to run routes?

How would this differ from current secured services paid for by local councils?

I have other questions, but will leave it at this for the moment so as not to confuse things.

Is it true that the Temsas are getting withdrawn  and what gonna replace them as i know redcar are having a  rough patch

Arriva Yorkshire 1459Y as arrived at redcar this afternoon and stright in to on the x4

A lot of Arriva NE fleet was bought between 2009-2014, a lot of that is coming upto 10-15 years old, do we know if there are any plans to do an entire re-order similar to what they did in in 2009/10/11/12/13 with massive orders?
