Looking on Bus Times it appears 1476-8 and 1509 are now working from Darlington and 2866/68 are now at Durham.
Does anyone know if 2824/34 have replaced anything at Stockton?

Was convinced we had one already.
Can't find it.
Anyway...

Bus and car collide in Hetton.
https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/nor...e-23738541 looks like Easington Lane actually.

I've been getting my ID checked quite a lot recently for the 5-25 tickets, but after faffing about for half an hour trying to get my driving license out of my wallet, they don't even look at it.
Do they just assume that because I actually got the ID out that I meet the criteria for the ticket, or is it just for show?
I assume there's been a crack down on the tickets recently given I've been IDd more times this month than I have in the last few years!

This is just a general thing - but are drivers allowed to wear one airpod in the right side?

Anyone has any routes which just have really nice views/sun rises and sets?
I used to love the X84/X85 getting it very earlier in the morning and late in the afternoon and seeing the sun come up and rise was a nice sight.

Are there any plans to update the fleet lists on this site (https://www.northeastbuses.co.uk/fleet/)?
At the moment he Go North East currently dates back to October 2020, while the Arriva and Stagecoach fleet lists date back to July 2020.
Additionally, the majority of the independent fleet lists seem to date back to 2017 (and quite a few of the operators have ceased trading since then). Some of the fleet lists are also empty (example), whole some of the others display "Last edited: 30th November -0001" (example)
Since they aren't linked from the current site it's possible that they've been abandoned along with the Bygone Era (though that doesn't really need updating by its nature), though it'd be nice to see them being updated again.
Thanks!

So this might be a stupid question, but what is the most popular route across GNE? Now I know it might be obvious to say the 21, but from what I've seen (based on bustimes, so not totally accurate) the 21 doesn't actually get busy on a lot of journeys, even at the reduced 10 minute "temporary" timetable.

Given that Stagecoach have started to dip their toe in North Tyneside, could there be scope for them to move into other areas?
