Due to changes in the parking at work I've been using the bus to get to and from work with good value 4.10 day ticket. The bus i get when i do a late shift is due to leave at 920 and I'm amazed at how many CPH get on the bus saying " is it to early to use my pass".. In fact I've seen the same ones try it again and again. Then on a afternoon they can use there pass between 4 and 6pm? I though this was a " peak time".
But to top it off a person tired this morning, got the Beep to say it was to early. Go off. The driver, obviously feeling sorry for her told them to get on and when it hit 930 to come and put there pass in then!!! Is it not enough that they travel for free? I'm sure the next step will be making fare paying passages wait in one queue whilst all the CPH get on first with the choice of seats!!!

Just for those who are into the Model Bus Collecting like myself.
Northcord Model Company have announced they will be releasing an Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMC (Dark Green X-Lines) for 6341 - YX20 OKA showing "X47 Eldon Square" on the destination in the promotional image used, would've been better if it was an X30/X31/X32/X70/X71/X72 for better authenticity however during the pandemic the E400's were used on the X45/X46/X47 on a daily basis until the interworking patterning were sorted out.
£57 and available for Pre-Order, the Model is due between September and October 2022.
https://www.hattons.co.uk/876058/northco...tockdetail
Furthermore EFE is being relaunched as as "EFE Road" by Bachmann and will be releasing a Leyland National MK1 Model in Northern Livery (UUP 831K) showing "55 Sacriston", I did see a porotype of this at Whitehaven in the museum piece they had and this looked very smart, pictures don't do it justice.
£41.95 - Available for Pre-Order, A few sites showing "Awaiting Stock"

Apparently GNE have bought these 3 ex London Enviro 400's. They were up for sale with Ensignbus. If Dan or anyone can confirm that would be great.
These are Euro 6 so probably the replacement of 6942. Probably going to Deptford if they do end up at GNE.
Predictions for Fleet Numbers?

Hello!
I've just moved into a house that has some areas and features which have been untouched since 1948 and have found this ticket stub and have absolutely no idea if there's a way to date it.
Anyone able to hazard a guess? I've found all sorts of beautiful bits of history here and this is going to be added to the collection.?
I'm in East Cleveland, if that's helpful.

Looking on Bus Times it appears 1476-8 and 1509 are now working from Darlington and 2866/68 are now at Durham.
Does anyone know if 2824/34 have replaced anything at Stockton?

Bus and car collide in Hetton.

I've been getting my ID checked quite a lot recently for the 5-25 tickets, but after faffing about for half an hour trying to get my driving license out of my wallet, they don't even look at it.
Do they just assume that because I actually got the ID out that I meet the criteria for the ticket, or is it just for show?
I assume there's been a crack down on the tickets recently given I've been IDd more times this month than I have in the last few years!
