I noticed that the 434 wasn't serving Cambois, North Blyth and West Sleekburn yesterday morning - according to GNE's Twitter it was due to the Spine Road being closed (caused by a serious collision between Cambois and North Seaton). Instead the service was diverted via Bomarsund, effectively cutting off the three communities for the morning. Could GNE have 'compromised' and turned the bus around on the outside of Cambois so that these villages had a service to Ashington at the very least? There wasn't really much point in running directly to/from Bedlington Station (especially with a more frequent service on the 1/19/X21).
I've attached a map to explain:

So Go North East have just announced that Toontour will cost £5. The weird thing is the part that says network one tickets work on it. Has this happened before or is the first time

Go North East have a new service starting from the 3rd July. Running from Newcastle to Beslay Hall. Must be a summer service
If anyone wants to know where it's found. Then go onto bus org. And then go to Go North east section and right at the bottom. You will see a PB and some numbers. It's on there at the very top

Are the 19 and 434 good services to Ashington? Is the 434 a contracted service? I'd like to go to Ashington some time. Maybe 309 to Blyth, then 434 to Ashington or maybe 309/310 to Cobalt and the 19 to Ashington. How good are the connections between the 19, 309 and 434? To get back I'd need a 19 to Cobalt and then a 309 back to Newcastle. Quite complicated to get to and from Ashington!

Tbh looking at the GNE tweets as of late. The Tyne Valley Ten buses seem to be breaking down quite a bit. I remember back when the metrocenter mini buses got withdrawn from the M6/M7/M8 due to the amount of break downs. I'm thinking that the 10 needs an upgrade in buses or to find out why they keep breaking down
