The fine is nothing compared to the reputational damage for both companies.

That's what I would expect to happen given there's no more uncertainty about the fine

No more uncertainty with the fine, but I'd argue there's uncertainty about the work they're going to get going forward and the future value of the shares as any rail work dries up. 

I'd not touch them with a bargepole.

I'd suspect that the expectation of no new rail work would also already be reflected in the share price.

I believe the railways are still going to be operated by private companies. It's been rumoured that it's going to be ran like TFL and the Overground (currently Arriva) and Crossrail (MTR). They'll definitely still be after rail work in the future imo.

Can see them wanting. Not convinced they'll get.

It would certainly make sense but then against the corruption in this government it wouldn't be a surprise if they won everything.
