Night Buses
A question i would like to ask is what Night Buses run down in the North East? is the Network getting bigger or smaller? are they tender or not? ect, am looking into it as the Liverpool area Night Bus network seems to be going bit by bit.
RE: Night Buses
Smaller. We have the N20 (Durham Circular), N21 (Same as the Durham - Newcastle 21), and N56 (Same as the Sunderland - Newcastle 56). They're all ran by Go North East commercially.

To build on that slightly.

The N56 only runs on Sunday mornings (after the Saturday night out)

The N20 & N21 runs Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The afore mentioned 21 used to be a 24 hour service, 7 days a week but was curtailed (presumably due to severe low use)

All operate as cash only services.
RE: Night Buses
Previous services (now withdrawn) included:

N58 (Saturday and Sunday morning only)
Heworth - Gateshead - Newcastle - Heaton* - Coast Road - Hadrian Park - Whitley Bay*

*The service was changed in early 2012 to serve Heaton (not served by the 58 service during the day), as well as terminating at Hadrian Park, rather than continuing to Whitley Bay.

N97 (Saturday and Sunday morning only)
Newcastle - Gateshead - Lobley Hill - Whickham - Fellside Park - Dunston - Newcastle
