Darlington's will be the same as last year to Pickering via Danby.
The Northallerton service is part of the Redcar diagram which starts at Saltburn.

Consultation on the 17/17a/17b/X17 on Teesside

Basically, the proposals are:
Saturday timetable on 17/17a effectively becomes weekday off-peak timetable as well with the 17b withdrawn
X17 would be revised to operate every 20 minutes at peak times rather than the present every 15 minutes - to improve reliability, proposed re-routing via Thornaby Centre and Mitchell Avenue to avoid peak time traffic at the presently roadwork-distrusted A19/A174 junction at afternoon peak times. This offers faster journey times for passengers from Thornaby Centre (13 minutes direct into Middlesbrough compared to the 20+ minutes at present), and while it slows the journey from Yarm and Ingleby Barwick down (although expectation is for the increase to be less than 5 minutes) it should improve the reliability.
With the exception of the northern part from Lanehouse Road into Stockton, Thornaby Road will once again be bus-less.

Theres a Branded sapphire 22 streetlite just left Peterlee bus station to Durham about 20 minutes ago. couldn't ID it as it was in the bus station and I was in the car driving past the entrance.

So they're cancelling the X5 ? I dont think they really gave it a proper chance, running only a couple of early journeys to Middlesbrough, and having an unusual route direct from Skelton to Middlesbrough and missing Guisborough.

Also, I have read a few times that 63 along with the 17's be having branding applied and wifi fitted to their buses. Does anyone know when this will be and what the allocation will be?

It'll be the 15 and 63 (and the Solos on the 7) - indeed our 15 Pulsars have already been fitted with wifi - this is fitted to 1457-60 and 1484-92/94 I understand, alongside the existing vehicles (Max, Sapphire) already offering it.

I don't think there is any route changes on any of our routes coming up, despite what the VOSA registrations show. Should be solid Pulsar but of course Redcar only have 10 (discounting 1440) so therefore the remaining 4 boards have to be made up of Temsas (or B10BLEs or whatever else they can find...)

I think it'll be operated by the Trust themselves as they seem to have a decent sized fleet of van-like minibuses.

Some upcoming roadworks and diversions:

ROAD CLOSURE - Haughton Road Closure
Monday 8 June to Thursday 11 June
Haughton Road will be closed for 4 days from Monday 8 June between McMullen Road and Salters Lane South.
Services 9 and 10 will divert via McMullen Road, Eastern Transport Corridor, A66 and Great Burdon....
Service 9 will then operate via Haughton Green to regain normal route at St Andrews Church and round Springfield back to the Church returning via outward route reversed.
Service 10 will turn right into Barmpton Lane and operate normal route round Whinbush back to Stockton Road Roundabout then back via outward route reversed.
A revised timetable will be in operation.

SERVICE UPDATE - Services 26A Road Closure
Scotch Corner to Skeeby
On Monday 8 June from 2000 hours the A6108 will be closed between Scotch Corner and Skeeby.
The 2030 and 2130 services from Darlington should operate via the A66 and Gilling West between Darlington and Richmond....
The 1921,2021,2136 and 2236 from Colburn should operate via Brompton on Swale and A1 North between Richmond and Scotch Corner.

Road Closure - Race for Life
From 0900 Hours until 1200 Hours on Sunday 7 June Parkside will be closed between Lakeside and Grange Road to allow for The Race For Life to take place.
During this period service 26A will omit Victoria Road, Rail Station, Park Lane and Parkside.
Dalesbus 830 should run via Park Lane and return via Clifton Road.

Road Closure Benton Road & Goathland Avenue
Due to a road closure at Benton Road / Goathland Avenue over two weekends (6th & 7th June then 13th & 14th  June) Services 52 and 54 will be diverted and shuttle buses provided between West Farm Avenue and Four Lane Ends and Goathland Avenue and Four Lane Ends.
The diversion routes are:
Service 52 via Salters Lane and Benton Park Road to Four Lane Ends and Benton park Road back to South Gosforth.
Service 54 via Salters Lane, West farm Avenue, Stoneleigh Avenue and West Farm Avenue back to Salters Lane.
