As stated before, 1 will be for Ashington (probably a QLIN spare), 1 for Blyth. 4 of the same type are currently being refurbed at enfield.

OK, back to the live tracking, here we go with an example of a phantom bus. It's just passed my house 10 minutes late (and it's non-sapphire, it turns out, so that looks like 3 odd workings on this route, this afternoon, out of 6). The app and live maps insisted it was where it should be if it was running on time, as shown.

This happens every time a bus running in either direction is about 10 minutes late or more, which renders the tracking a bit useless for those times you really are wondering where TF your bus has got to. It seems that every tie an error is fixed (eg buses apparently running 100 minutes late, as was the case when the updated app was launched) they introduce another big flaw. The programmers have clearly made the point at which the timing data is deemed to be wrong far too short, so while the app is no longer reporting a bus to be over an hour late, it is deciding that it can't possibly be 10 minutes late, even on a 3 hour round trip.

Does this mean Darlington is going to get 4658 again then?

1105 and 1303 are both on-loan to Stockton today on the 7. I do feel sorry for whoever has to try and get 1303 round the diversion in Yarm later.....

It runs to Yarm Willey Flatts estate. It's meant to be every 10 minutes after 0910 however at 1045 Yarm High Street is closed for the annual fair which means the 7 is diverted via Bridge Street and West Street along with all other traffic so delays are expected (which may explain why 1105 and 1303 are on-loan - allows 2 Solos to act as delay recovery later).

Should also point out that the 17s between 1100 and 1830 into Yarm are terminating at the Spital on the south side of the High Street with a shuttle bus running between there and Kingsmead.

Do you know the reg of 7458?

Are arriva north east going to get any of them arriva streetdecks in use with arriva midlands do we know? They look like very nice buses. Better than the streetdeck demo in use with gne. Front looks a lot better. Be good if they replaced them remaining b10s.

The StreetDeck at Midlands is only a demonstrator, long term on the Sapphire 38.

The ADL Enviro400 / Dennis Trident 2 is the standard double deck vehicle.

Yeah there is it's the traffic lights at Durham gate they change too quick so of course all the traffic is backing up causing the buses to be late

Is service 48 (The one that goes to Durham, sorry I don't know much about it) a Sapphire route?

Thanks both. Just I photographed a Sapphire Pulsar on there and was wondering if it was rare or not.

It would have substituted a broken down vehicle. There was a Sapphire spare Pulsar when I passed through earlier.
